"So you want us all to get jobs." Wheatley deadpanned, raising an eyebrow. "When did he need that surgery again?"

"And what was that about his species now being extinct?" Ben asked in a worried tone.

"Not actual professional jobs, just something small to raise money. And honestly Ben, I'm not entirely sure myself," Nori said.

"We should all pitch in to help. Helo is counting on us." Kaithenne said, hope swelling in her. If they could raise money, they could save Helo!

"We'd be a day late to Oncewynn depending on his recovery." Ben sat on the bed. "Would magic be able to heal him?" Kaithenne frowned. Of course people thought anyone can do any spell.

"I'm not that advanced. The only one who is my king, King Vynsenette." She answered. She worshipped her king with every fiber in her body. It was needed, as he ruled over her.

"I'd rather be a day late to Oncewynn than have Helo injured greatly," Nori said, her usual smile on her lips. Kaithenne knew from experience now that it was forced. She was worried for her boyfriend. Which was understandable. They all loved Helo. His safety - like all of theirs - was of the utmost importance.

"Agreed." She turned to the others, who all nodded. Wheatley sighed.

"There's a reason it's immediate surgery. But I'm in." He uncrossed his arms.

"Perfect!" Nori said, "Okay, let's go!"

They worked the whole night, soon getting all the money they needed. Kaithenne counted it out herself. Then she smiled.

"Wonderful! Nori and I will get this to our Cyberican friend. You all stay here." She ordered.

"But," Saturn protested, "I wanna see Helo!" Kaithenne sighed.

"Fine. Saturn, you can come. The rest of you, stay in the hotel. We will be back shortly." She said, grabbing the money envelope and walking out the door, Nori and Saturn behind her.

"Yay!" Saturn chimed, smiling. Nori remained silent. They got to the desk and paid for the surgery, going to see Helo. The sight was somewhat tame. He had an IV going into his arm, and he was sleeping. He seemed to be uncomfortable with how his doorwings were. Kaithenne opened the door and they went inside.

Nori looked at Helo, her eyes showing happiness yet also worry. It was rare for her to show even that slight semblance of emotion. Saturn had remained silent as to not wake him. Helo soon opened his eyes with a groan.

"Am I hallucinating or are you guys really there? They've hopped me up on so many pain meds it's hard to tell." He asked weakly and sleepily.

"We are actually here," Nori said, "Hi."

"Morning sleeping beauty," Saturn grinned.

"Hey guys." He lifted his IV hand and rubbed his eye. "What brings you here? I know we were headed to Oncewynn today."

"We paid for your surgery." Kaithenne said with a smile. She knew he'd be happy about it. Sure enough, his eyes widened.

"You're kidding..." he breathed.

"Nope," Nori said.

"Nassa's the one who originally thought of how we'd get the money." Helo smiled.

"Thanks, guys. I thought I was screwed on that part." He tried to sit up. "I'm glad I finally accepted your help." He smiled.

"I don't think you should sit up," Nori said, "But it's a good thing ya did." The doctor soon came in.
