I was watching the scene unfold with a gentle smile. I knew I couldn't watch forever. So, I go and see my daughter one last time. I stride over to her, finding her in the hallway. "Nassa." I beckon in a silky voice.

She turned to look at me. Her tail flicked, and she paused for a moment. Then, she spoke. "Hello."

"I'm sorry for leaving you all these years." I saw, hugging her. I felt it needed to be said. After all these years.

She hugged back, but hesitantly. "It's not your fault."

"But I left you for a while. For most of your life." I let go. "I just want to hope that all is well between us." I had always worried for her since I was taken again and my memories were stolen. Now that I had her back..."

"... I think so. I know you probably aren't talking to me, but Nassa doesn't know how to respond, so you have me, Alkippe, instead." I smile a bit.

"I'm glad." I nodded. "And you had allies along the way."

She smiled. "Even if Nassa hates him, Saturn is a great guy, for the record. He's annoying. And so am I, Nassa." I smiled, fully now.

"And now your greatest ally is your husband." I look at Wheatley, who was talking with Heliosray. "I would say I'm proud you married someone who makes you happy, but I can't say that. I will say I'm overjoyed instead."

She looked at me, with a smile. Then she embraced me. I sat there for a moment, then hugged back.

I was happy to finally be by her side once more.
