“I have no idea where I'm going," Nori admitted to the cyberican next to her. She felt like she could trust him, at least until they escaped. Then she didn't know what to expect from Helo.

“Me neither.” Helo told her, his doorwings drooping. He was still a bit wobbly.

Nori tried to help him with his stance. "Well, we'll figure it out," The nymph says optimistically. How anyone could be optimistic in this scenario is questionable, but the nymph apparently had the secret.

“Yeah, but none of us are animals save for Saturn and Nassa, and I’m just hoping they found Energon.” He said worriedly.

"Yeah, me too," Nori said, "But I wouldn't doubt a wendigo's tracking skills." Helo smiled at her.

"Well, not that I knew what a wendigo was before, but still, it's clearly a predator built to hunt." Helo laughed.

“Yeah.” He gently grasped her hand.
She looked at him, slightly confused. Then she shrugged and decided to roll with it. "What exactly is a wendigo? I'd like to know."

“I only know that they are very dangerous.” Helo shrugged. He seemed very laid back.

"Lovely!" Nori said, without sarcasm, "We have a dangerous creature helping us!"

“A hybrid of one.” He corrected. “As long as she stays human, she can’t hurt us.”

"... Heliosray, you're assuming she doesn't know how to fight in her human form," She points out, "Plus if you look closely, she still has sharp teeth in her human form."

“Yeah, but in human form, she’s in control of herself, is she not?” He added. He gave her a kind smile.
"True. But, you said she CAN'T hurt us. She can, she just most likely won't." Helo nodded.

“Let’s stop arguing about this like some married couple. We need to find Kaithenne.” He stood up straighter and he winced as he continued walking. The yellow lights seemed to be brighter.

It concerned Nori, but she didn't say anything. Worry would likely end up only distracting from their goal. "Right. Where should we look first?"
“Let’s try the medical science areas. I was sent there.” Helo suggested. He pointed down the hall. “Do you want to split up? Cover more ground?”

"If someone sees us, we have a better chance of surviving if we're together," Nori points out. Of course, that wasn't the only reason she didn't want to split up, but it was true. Still, it was a cover for her fear of losing those around her. Helo nodded.

“Let’s find you some water to do that thing you were talking about.” Helo portrayed the same Synthcian behavior - the whole not believing in magic thing.

"Water manipulation, if you prefer not calling it water magic," Nori says, "I'm not great, but it could still help."
“Yeah, that.” Helo saw a water tank and used his leg to get the knife he had used to break them out earlier. He stabbed the tank, managing to poke through. Helo plunged it through with a grunt. “Don’t look.” He said, turning to Nori.

"Okay," She looks away, as he asked. She was genuinely curious, but she didn't want to make him upset. All she wanted to do was make people happy, and for whatever reason, especially him. There was the falling of a shirt, and then some more grunting. Then a shirt being put back on.

“Okay, you can look now.”

"Okey," She turned back to face him, with a smile. She had been smiling the entire time since they were captured, actually. Helo was holding a piece of fabric, and his chest was showing under his shirt. He smiled.

“I can be dysphoric for a bit. We can use my binder to carry the water. It’s like workout clothing, so it should work.” He told her.

"Alright, but you're sure it'll be fine?" Nori asks, slightly surprised. She wasn't expecting that. She didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't that. Helo shrugged.

“Having no binder on can affect me pretty badly, since I wear it all the time. But my chest needs a break for it. Normally I would refuse this, but we have no other way to transport this and you need it to do your manipulation.” Helo sighed. “Look, let’s do this before I change my mind.”

"Okay," Nori said, her voice not showing the doubt, or the nervousness, that she felt. Helo tied it at the bottom and filled it with water, the sleeves serving as handles. Then he walked over to Nori.

“Okay, don’t freak out, but I’m going to use my female voice here on out. It’s something I do back home when I take this off so that my voice matches my look.” He said in a female tone. “Here’s the water. I tied the bottom pretty damn tight, so it shouldn’t give out.” He sounded like he could be part selkie or something.

"Mk. So, let's go find Kaithenne," Nori says. She didn't really mind Helo's voice, in fact she couldn't care less, as long as he was happy. Helo nodded.
“Agreed.” Helo retrieved his knife and walked ahead. He suddenly stopped, his face in deep concentration.

"What is it?" She asked in a quiet tone. She looked around, unsure of what was going on, and nervous. Yet, if one simply looked at her expression, it didn't change at all.

“Shh.” Helo got out his knife again, doorwings pinned to his back. He snuck up against the wall. Helo held his ear to the door and smiled. “Nori, you’re in for the best news of your life.”

"What?" Nori had the urge to make a sarcastic comment, but decided against it, as to not make the mood morbid. She looked at Helo with a confused look, but still a smile.

“I think I found our fae.”
