Nassa was mildly annoyed. Why? Someone she had just met that day assumed that because she's a wendigo hybrid, she eats people. It was partially true, she has attacked people when very hungry, but it's not like she actively chooses to eat people! In fact, she avoids it!
She looked back at the cyborg, stomach rumbling. "What exactly are you planning to happen?"
Wheatley took a look at the map. "We have to go through the council to get to the weakest wall in the whole facility. But I don't have that many crossbow bolts on me, and Energon can only do so much. If you can injure them to the point where we can get through, we might just have a chance." Energon warbled, sniffing the floor. Then the tiny dragon froze and he ran off.
Nassa looked at Energon, and ran after him. "Wait, where are you going?" Energon soon barrelled into a very happy Cyberican and began to lick his face relentlessly. Helo laughed. "Energon!" He cried, petting the baby dragon. Wheatley raised an eyebrow.
"Who in the Six Sectors is that?" He asked Nassa.
"Hi, Helo. This is Wheatley," Nassa explains, "Wheatley, Helo, also Energon's owner. Where are the others?"
"I thought they were right behind me." Helo looked behind himself and sure enough, the others were running after him. Wheatley and Ben did a bro handshake, and Energon said hi to everyone. Nori just waved.
"And the gang is back together, woo!" Saturn yells happily. Helo looked at Wheatley. They stared for a while, then Wheatley spoke. "I'm glad the little one found a home with you. I will always remember him as the one who escaped with me." Helo nodded. Then he turned to Nassa.
"What's the plan?" He asked the wendigo hybrid.
"According to him, and I quote," Nassa points at Wheatley, " 'We have to go through the council to get to the weakest wall in the facility.'"
"Which is on the other side. We'll have to be pretty quick on our feet." He added. "Energon and I know which wall it is. We've broken through it before, and that's why it's so weak. Now usually, I would want to avoid the council at all counts because of my reputation here. But we literally have no choice."
"Wouldn't they have probably reinforced the wall because you broke through it?" Alkippe pointed out. She had a good point, especially if we were putting ourselves in danger, it's best to consider all possibilities, Nassa thought.
"Yeah, what Nassa said," Nori agreed. Of course, they wouldn't be able to tell whether Alkippe or Nassa said something. Wheatley shook his head.
"Ijetix isn't like that. I've lived here for seven years. Even when cages were broken, Ijetix never called construction or everything. They always just leave it as it is. That's why I never had a proper room. A wendigo tried to break me out once because I was her roommate/food and she thought of me as her pup, despite the fact that I wasn't the same species. I was ten. She got hit with a tranq and I was forced to watch her die. They never fixed the cage, and I stayed in there until a couple days later. I was banished then." Wheatley said, the last part with grief lacing his voice.
"..." Nassa didn't know what to say, neither did Alkippe. A secret that Nassa kept well, was that she didn't like wendigos. She hated her own half kin. Yet... a wendigo tried to help Wheatley escape? Not only that, but the wendigo treated him like her pup? Wheatley was lucky, luckier than he'd probably ever realize.
"Nass?" Saturn snapped Nassa out of her thoughts and she looked at him. Wheatley frowned.
"Okay, enough about my sob story. Let's get the heck out of here." He looked down the hall. "I need to make a quick trip though. I came here looking for someone. My father Aeris Spydos. He works with Chief Aerizat." He turned to everyone. "Do. Not. Wait for me. Even if my mother reveals she has me." He looked at Nassa. "I guess I'll see you around." He smiled at her.
Nassa looked at him, "You'll be fine," She said, although her tone showed that she was... Mad at him, for some reason? Saturn sighed, he looked like he knew something everyone else didn't. Wheatley nodded. He ran off, his sneakers silent on the floor. Helo looked at her.
"I guess we should get a move on." He patted the back of his leg, and Energon followed, seeming to be happier with the sight of his owner. Ben grabbed his sword, with Kaithenne seeming to swoon over him.
"Yes, let's go," Nassa said, shifting into a more wendigo like form.
