// Daniel's POV //

I'm asleep beside Charlotte with my arms around her small body, when all of a sudden I hear her crying thats when I woke up and looked overnat her to make sure that my babygirl was okay as I did tears where streaming down her face but she was still asleep.

Let me tell you that as her dad that sight just broke my heart into pieces, I would do anything to take all of her pain away and I mean anything and i'm pretty sure Jonah would as well being he is her older brother after all.

If I could I would take away all of the pain she feels.

I would do anything and I mean anything for her and everything in my power to keep her safe in my arms.

Nothing or no one is going to hurt her while I'm around.

Not even in a million years.

see theres some things in life that we just can't control but what we can do is live in the present momemnt and just enjoy every seccond of it because tommorrow isn't always promised.

I gentle but careful shake her awake.

once she is awake she instently throws her arms around me and contuines to cry.

'' its okay baby your okay'' as I repeat those words over and over again to her, she stops crying and looks up at me with tear stained face.

I whipe the tears from her cheeks and keep her in my arms still making sure to me careful and to make sure that she is comfortable and ask her if she wants to talk about what happend she just shakes her head no.

Which I'm fine with because I don't want to feel like she has to tell me I will give her time.

She yawns and she rest her hand back on my chest and slowly starts to close her eyes but before she is completely asleep the last thing she said to me was '' Love you dad''.

'' Love you too babygirl'' I say to her as Ieave a kiss on her forehead and before I know it I'm out like a light.

Heyy guys hoped you enjoyed this chapter, sorry I haven't updated this book in awhile its been a hit minute hasn't it ? anyway sorry that this chapter is short I promise the next one will be longer much longer.
