After class... (Saiki's Pov)

After what Kubuyasu said to (y/n), I was kind of okay with it since she agreed. But I had a feeling inside me that was burning when she smiled at him. Was I jealous? That was obvious. Why would I be jealous. Dammit. I kept spacing out while (y/n) shouted my name. "HEY. Kusuo! Are you listening?" "Huh? Oh sorry. What did you say... Hun?" (y/n)'s eyes widened and so Kubuyasu's and Kaido's. "W-wha-." "Are you two a thing?!" I nodded while (y/n) looked down blushing like a crackhead. "EEEEKKKKKK... Why did he call me thattt?!?! This is so embarrassing!! >_<!!!" Her thoughts said. I just tsked and looked the other way while I intertwined my hands with hers.

*Time skip* At Kaido's house.

"Hey, guys? Let's keep it quiet, okay?" Kaido said. "Why? Do your parents not know that we're coming over?" He shook his head. "It's just that my sister... is studying for her exam and she might kill us all if-" He just nodded. "If we don't study and focus on class she might beat me up in front of my friends. And I kinda don't want that hahaha.." I look over to (y/n) and she looked at me. Her face was full of understanding and she felt bad for Kaido. "Hey, we should get some ramen!"

(Y/n's Pov)

"Hey, we should get some ramen!" Nendo said. I chuckled at his comment. "Maybe later, Nendo. We need to study first, okay?" "Yeah! We shouldn't be hanging around doing nothing! The mid-term exams are soon and if we fail it we won't be able to go to the trip!" Kaido jumped around like a kid. We went in his room and it looked pretty cool. "Nice room, Kaido!" "T-thanks! I like a lot things so it's pretty messy here right now." I glanced to his bed. I saw a notebook with a title "Jet black wings! - vol. 11." I giggled quietly. We started with our work and we finished it all at 8 pm. "Not bad, guys. Me and Kusuo should start heading home. It's getting pretty late. See ya." I stood up and packed my things and said good bye to Kaido's mom.

Kusuo was holding my hand while we were walking home. I was humming a song. "I wonder if I will be able to tell her this..." I quietly just walked while Saiki was thinking. 'Maybe I shouldn't be listening to his thoughts. But he said tell me something. Is it even me?' I shook my head and cancelled my ability. "Hey... (y/n)? I wanna tell you something." "Hmm? What is it, Kusuo?" "I wanna break-" *BEEP, BEEP* A truck went by and everything blacked out.

(Third persons Pov)

Kusuo tried pushing (y/n) off the way but it was too late. Her body laid on the hard cold pavement. He immediately teleported to the hospital. He didn't care if people saw him. He just wanted to save (y/n). '(y/n), don't give up on me. Please. Live. For me. I love you. I just didn't know how to tell you. Please.' Kusuo thought to himself. He called for a nurse. "HELP, PLEASE. HELP HER. SHE GOT HIT BY A TRUCK. She's... She's dying!!!" "Sir, calm down. Please tell us what happened?" "SHE'S DYING. SAVE HER PLEASE." Kusuo was pretty shaken up. He couldn't think straight.

After a few hours, (y/n) was finally stabilized. The doctor said to (y/n)'s dad and to Saiki that she'll be asleep for a couple of days. 2 days minimum. "Is she going to be alright?" Saiki said with a shaky voice. "She had a good beating on the head so she might have temporary amnesia." The doctor said, while looking at his folder. (y/n)'s Dad sighed. "She's going to be okay, Kusuo. It's not your fault." He patted his back comforting him. "You should get going. Your mom and dad are going to worry-" "I'm staying. I don't want to leave her side. I was going to tell her how I feel. But.." He looked down, feeling guilt that he couldn't protect the person he loved the most. The girl who changed him. 'I should've saved you. Why didn't I see that truck. I should've stopped time. I should've pulled you.' He kept beating himself up in his mind. "You shouldn't beat yourself like that. You took her here just in time. That's enough for me to thank you. Now. Go home get some rest and visit her tomorrow." Kusuo nodded and bowed him goodbye. Saiki left home and laid in his bed troubled in his thoughts.

*Time skip* Next day. (Y/n's Dad Pov)

I woke up with the sun rays going through (y/n)'s room windows. I sighed. 'Please my sunshine. Wake up. I don't want to lose you like your mom. Kusuo is worried about you. He loves you. And you love him. You have so much to live for.' I put my face into my hands and started crying quietly. I didn't want to lose another person. As much as I loved my wife, I didn't want to lose someone precious to us both. Our daughter. *knock, knock..* "Come in." I stood up and wiped my tears. "Oh hello, Kusuo. I see you brought some sweets for (y/n)." He nodded and I just sat down again.
