Sometimes we're outcasts in our own lives. Sometimes we're strangers to the truths—

hidden within us.

Napalingon ako sa paligid ko at hindi mapigilang hindi mamangha sa bawat gusali na nalalagpasan ko.

So this is how the academy looks like at the day of classes?

It looks so magical. What did you expect, Rana, eh nasa Starliria ka?

Every student wore a purple blazer with a white blouse underneath, paired with a purple skirt with white lines running down the side. Their socks were high, and their shoes were sleek, black, and polished to perfection.

The boys? They wore the same purple blazers, white shirts, and black slacks, their shoes just as immaculate, completing the uniform that made them all look like they belonged in a world far beyond normal.

This place wasn't just any academy. It felt like the entire building pulsed with energy, as if it was alive, watching us as we made our way through the halls. Everything was pristine, polished, and—if I'm being honest—pretty intimidating. Even the air felt different, as if it knew something I didn't.

"Couldn't have asked for a better first day," Bulong ko sa sarili ko.

This was the Starliria Academy. Every student here had something special about them. Some were born with magic, some had connections, and some—like me—were trying to find their place in all of it.

I adjusted the collar of my blazer, feeling like I didn't belong in it yet. My eyes scanned the other students, most of them walking in groups, exchanging words that felt like they had been rehearsed for years.

"Bat ka pala sumama samin?" I asked Tim, my voice breaking the silence between us. He glanced at me, surprised by my sudden question.

"Can't I come with you guys?" he rolled his eyes. "Besides, bihira nalang ang mga may kaibigan na gwapo." He smirked, so full of himself.

Kaibigan? Said who?

We kept walking, still not entirely used to the weight of our new reality. This was it—the beginning of something much bigger than ourselves.

But I didn't want to let the magic overwhelm me. I wasn't here for the spectacle or the uniforms. I had a goal in mind. I was here for something more.

I have no time for games at the Academy. I was given a chance for this Glory, and I won't waste it. Lalo na't nandito ako with a purpose. Hindi ko nga lang alam kung paano ko ito sisimulan. I could do it alone, but these elite squad members are surely gonna be in the way—

Ouch.

Napahawak ako sa noo ko nang bigla na lang akong nauntog sa kung anong matigas na bagay.

"Tanga!" I heard Tim laugh, making me explode in anger.

I opened my eyes in annoyance and glared at the person in front of me with obvious rage.

Tangina, mapapatay ko 'toh.

My eyes drifted to the person in front of me, and my jaw dropped when I realized who it was.

"Ikaw na naman?!" I yelled at him, catching the attention of the other students at the Academy.

He stood there wearing the same Elite Group uniform Aron had yesterday, a crisp white with gold accents, his hair perfectly styled, making his features stand out even more. But who cares?

He gave me an indifferent glance, his expression unreadable. His uniform alone screamed privilege, but the way he looked at me made my blood boil.

Kasama siya sa Silver Knights na 'yon?
