~Chapter Twenty-two~

Once they reached the hair salon, the boys went in one direction, leaving Hayeon alone.

"If they hurt you just scream and I'll beat them to a pulp!" Hongjoong said to Hayeon before entering the other room.

Hayeon just nodded and sat awkwardly until a girl with purple hair tied into a bun approached her.

"Hello! How can I help you?" She asked kindly.

"Uhm, I-I would like to dye my hair..." Hayeon trailed off.

"Ohh that's great! Is this your first time?"

"Y-Yeah, it will be." Hayeon smiled.

"Oh I see, well then please sit here, I'll get the supplies." The girl showed Hayeon the seat.

She sat on it and just stared at her reflection in the mirror. She wondered how the boys were doing.

"Okay! I'm back, so what colour do you wanna dye your hair into?"

Hayeon pondered for a moment. She was confused since she never dyed her hair before and had no idea what colour would suit her.

"Which colour do you think would suit me?" She asked the girl since she thought she would be able to help her.

"Hmm," the girl put her hand on her chin as she stared at Hayeon in thought, "I think light or pale colours would go well with your face, like blonde, strawberry pink, or lilac."

'I wonder what colour Wooyoung will do...'

"I'll go with blonde please, thank you for helping me choose." She smiled at the girl.

"You're most welcome! What's your name?"

"It's Hayeon, what's yours?"

"It's Minji, nice to meet you Hayeon!"

"Same to you." Hayeon smiled through the mirror.

Minji started brushing Hayeon's hair to get rid of any knots and she prepared the bleach.

"This will smell awful so I'm sorry in advance haha." Minji said before opening the bleach container.

The smell hit both of their nostrils at once. Hayeon scrunched her nose and closed her eyes.

"Just sit back and try to relax, it might be a bit painful but I promise I'll go a bit gentle..." Minji said softly as Haydon nodded.

Just as Minji was about to start bleaching Hayeon's hair, a scream could be heard faintly in the distance.

"Must be from the boys' room, I hope Yohan isn't pulling their hair out..." Minji sighed.

Hayeon giggled a bit as she recognised the scream as Hongjoong's.

"Did you come here alone?" Minji asked.

"No, I came with my cousin and his friends." Hayeon tried to stifle in her laughter once she heard another scream, this time recognising it as Seonghwa's.

"Are they the ones screaming?"

"I think so, yeah." Hayeon and Minji both laughed.

Minji started to bleach Hayeon's hair and oh boy, did it hurt. She felt that her hair was being pulled out and the smell of the bleach didn't calm her down either. She bit her lips to suppress her screams.

"I'm sorry, I know it's hurting..." Minji pouted.

Hayeon just gave her an 'I'm okay' sign since she didn't want to talk.

Minji finished bleaching her hair and then proceeded to put on a bit of blonde hair dye.

(A/N: Trust me, I have absolutely NO IDEA how to dye hair)
