~Chapter Twenty-three~

Ever since the group had dyed their hair, they were the center of attention at college, which Hayeon disliked. She would often hide behind Yuqi or whoever of her friends she was nearest to. She felt people staring at her for her new hair.

It was the last day of their exams and everyone was almost finished. After about 10 minutes, they all submitted the paper and left the school building.

"Hey Wooyoung, can you please meet me at the tree near the back of the field before you go?" Eunha asked, grabbing his arm gently while Hayeon gave her a side glance.

"Uhm sure?" Wooyoung was confused whether he even saw the girl before.

Hayeon had a feeling Eunha finally built up the courage to ask Wooyoung out.

'WAIT SHE'S GONNA ASK HIM OUT???'

Hayeon quickly grabbed Yuqi's arm and started shaking it.

"What?? What happened??" She asked worriedly.

"Eunha, she just asked Wooyoung to meet her at the tree near the back of the field and-"

"Why are you telling me that?? Let's just go!" Yuqi started dragging Hayeon to the back of the field.

They hid behind a tree and saw Eunha leaning against another, tapping away on her phone.

"Probably telling her little sidekicks she's gonna have a boyfriend now." Yuqi rolled her eyes.

"Y-You don't think Wooyoung would actually go out with her do you...?" Hayeon asked worriedly.

"Oh please, I know he's dumb but he's not THAT dumb to go out with a girl like her. Besidessssss," she turned to smirk at Hayeon, "he's all yours, so when are YOU gonna ask him out?"

Hayeon's cheeks heated up and she started fiddling with her fingers.

"I don't knowwwww stop asking me that!"

"Shh, he's here!" Yuqi said as she saw Wooyoung approaching Eunha.

"So?" Wooyoung said the second he reached there.

Eunha quickly put her phone away and smiled.

"Uhm, I wanted to tell you something important..." She said, looking down and mindlessly kicking her foot gently.

"Look at her trying to act all shy in front of him and everything..." Yuqi grit her teeth.

"What is it? I don't have all day, I've got an after-exam party to host." Wooyoung tapped his foot impatiently.

"Ohhh I forgot about the party!" Hayeon whisper-shouted.

"Oh my God, me too! We better make a run for it after this is done." Yuqi whisper-shouted back while Hayeon nodded.

"A-Am I invited?" Eunha asked.

"And you are?" Wooyoung asked with his eyebrow raised.

"I'm Eunha! You know, your classmate!"

"Still don't know you. Anyways, hurry up. If it's something about our exam then forget it." Wooyoung was about to walk away when Eunha held his wrist.

Wooyoung shook his hand out of her grip and slightly glared at her.

"I-I just wanted to tell you that I really like you and I want you to be my boyfriend!"

"Do you like me or my popularity and looks?"

Eunha kept silent.

"I'm sorry but I'm not interested in a relationship, find someone else who is." Wooyoung waved her off and started walking away.
