Chapter 1. Catching up

* First off , it’s been about… 5 months since that day I almost got on a plane. A lot has changed, for the better of course, here let me Explain. *

[ 5 Months Ago ] 

(Right after Chapter 50 Ended. )

When I woke up the next morning, I quietly snuck out of my flat, I didn’t wanna disturb a sleeping Dan. Anyway I walked over to Joe and Caspar’s place, they were the first people I’d tell, because well…. They lived the closest. I knocked on their door and they surprising answered and attacked me in a hug, I just stood there with a confused look on my face. ” Did Alec tell you? ” I asked, they both nodded ( Why am I not surprised ). ” How dare you try to leave us here alone, we would’ve went to California with you ” Joe smiled, I rolled my eyes and chuckled. ” You guy’s don’t hate me for lying? ” I questioned, they shook their heads. ” You did what you had to do to be safe and plus we love you too much to hate you ” Joe exclaimed, I smiled. ” Can we still call you Ellie? Because We’ve been arguing for the past two days, we don’t know if we should call you by your chosen name ( Ellie ) or your birth name ( Natalie ) ” Caspar explained, ” Caspar I told you not to ask her that! ” Joe yelled. I chuckled ” It’s fine and my name is still Ellie, does anyone else know? “, Joe nodded. ” I think only Zoe and Alfie, but you should still call them ” he stated, I nodded and smiled. ” So, I’ll see you guy’s at work? ” I asked, and with smiles, they both nodded happily.

* All my friends were supper supportive, they all understood, that I lied to be safe. I ended up getting all my furniture and belongings out of the storage unit, I was thankful that Alec got it for me. At first everything was still hard for me, I was still on my guard at all time’s, because I thought my parents would show up at any moment. They haven’t yet and that’s fine with me. I’ve been talking with a therapist as well, she’s helped me in so many ways, of course my ’ Secret ’ isn’t much of a secret anymore. I mean sure not everyone in London know’s about it, but there’s a good few that do and I trust everyone of them. I was also brave enough to finally get the tattoo, I’d wanted one for 2 years. I also decided on getting a pet, after my therapist said ’ It would help me When I was feeling alone ‘. So one day Dan, Phil and Alec accompanied me to one of the local shelters, where I picked out a sweet / cute little Kitten. And I named him Bernie. 

Now for those who are curious about Denworth’s, well Paige is well…. How do I put this…. Dead. Yeah, she lived 3 month’s on life support, but the doctors believed that she ended up being braid dead. I felt bad for her parent’s tho, they had to make to decision to let her go. They seemed like good people, I mean I only met them Once at that Christmas Party thing, but could you imagine having kids like Lucas and Paige. A son that runs over his sister, only to protect some Stupid girls secret. Lucas was able to buy his way out of Jail ( Because Let’s face it, he’s rich as fuck ), but he didn’t get away freely. He’s been put on house arrest, probably for the rest of his life and plus there are a lot of people that would like to beat the shit out of him. As for Max and Mara, Well I haven’t seen Max since the night of Paige and Lucas had their party. I don’t doubt that he’s causing trouble and chasing girls that aren’t interested in him. Strangely Mara and I have gotten a lot closer, since the last time we saw Mara ( At the Party ), she has gotten married to John and she’s also Pregnant ( Yeah, so she’s 100% Changed and she’s a good person now ).

Probably one of the biggest changes in my life is their’s a new girl in Dan’s life. Now I understand how that must sound kinda like the last story, but it’s not. Her name is Beth and she’s incredibly shy, sweet, nice, She’s nothing like Paige or Mara.. Or even Me. If you’re Wondering, Yes I still have strong feeling for Dan, but I understand that he needed to move on and find someone better. I’ve just been too busy lately to even think about Dating and he’s happy, that’s all that matters. Some good news tho, I’ve made a few new friends! ( Wow ). I mean sure i met them through Zoe and Alfie, but it still counts. They’re another cute couple that I have grown close too, their names are Marcus and Niomi. But like Zoe and Alfie I don’t get to see them much, they live further away, so we spend many night’s on Skype together…. Anyway, let’s get on with the Story *

It was a chilly Tuesday night, I had just finished up a long day of working and now I was walking home fast ( Only because I was cold ). When I walked through the door to my building, I noticed that I’d be having some new neighbors soon, they were moving into Eric’s flat ( I missed that little guy ). I smiled to them as I quickly passed by, they returned the smile. I unlocked my door and walked in, all the lights were on, so I knew someone was there. ” Hello? ” I asked, ” Hey Elle ” Phil shouted from the lounge. I smiled and walked into the lounge. He was sitting on the sofa with his laptop in hand, and Bernie sitting next to him, ” What are you doing here? ” I asked him. ” Dan and Beth were being too couply for me, so I paid Mr. Bernie here visit ” he sighed, I chuckled. ” Well, that was nice ” I smiled, he nodded. ” How was work? ” he asked, I shrugged ” Normal “. ” How’s the internet? ” I questioned, he chuckled. ” Normal ” he replied, I laid down on the other ( Smaller ) sofa, I was extremely tired. ” Have you talked to Dan today? ” Phil asked, I nodded ( It was a like though ). It’s not that Dan and I were ignoring each other, we were just really busy. ” How’s the radio show coming, for Sunday? ” I asked him, I just wanted to change the subject. He smiled, ” It’s going good, will you be watching, like alway’s? ” he asked. I rolled my eyes, ” Obviously! ” I exclaimed. He chuckled and went back to searching the web, I laid there and would you believe it, I started to fall asleep. I’m not sure what really happened afterword, I just woke up an hour later, by Dan. He was just in my flat all of a sudden, but I was used to it. ” Hi! ” I yelled at him and Phil who were sitting on the other sofa, both typing away on their laptops. ” Hey ” Dan smirked, I sighed. ” Why are you both here? Don’t you live in your own flat? ” I questioned, they laughed. ” We just wanna make sure you’re not lonely.. ” Dan sighed, I rolled my eyes. ” That’s why I have Bernie ” I stated, ” Yeah, Dan! ” Phil mocked. I smirked and sighed, ” Hey Elle, do you have work tomorrow? ” Dan questioned. I stared at him strangely, ” No, Why? ” I asked slowly. ” Beth Needs to do some shopping for Girly products, and I just thought, you could go instead of me ” Dan smiled, I chuckled ” I don’t think so, you’re the one dating her, so you get to do all the girly shopping with her “. He frowned, ” Well, will you at least come along, you two should bond a little ” he stated. ( But I didn’t want to Bond with Beth, I wanted to Hate her, she was just to nice for me to hate her ) I let out a deep sigh, ” I guess, but I’m inviting Mara to come with ” I exclaimed sitting up. ” Ugh, Why?? ” Dan whined, ” It’s weird that you and Mara are so close now ” Phil stated. I chuckled ” Well, you know we’ve started a club, the      ’ Dan’s Ex- Girlfriend ’ club “, Dan only shook his head. ” So will you come with us? ” he asked again, I nodded and sighed. After I stood up and picked up Bernie, ” I’m going to bed, Just lock up when you leave ” I stated. They both nodded, I wasn’t really going to sleep, I just needed an excuse to leave the room. I might of agree’d, but I know I’d change my mind in the morning. I was literally still in Love with this fucking guy, but I didn’t wanna walk around a shop with him and his girlfriend. I feel like a coward, I just couldn’t handle it, this was going to eat me alive…
