Chapter 13. Another Party and Another Mistake.

{ Ellie’s P.O.V }

[ Saturday ] 

I Slowly woke up hearing voices coming from around me, I had fallen asleep on my sofa ( Again ), Joe, Caspar and Scottie were still here. We spent all night eating, with Netflix of course. At first I thought yesterday was just a dream, but then I realized it wasn’t. ” Did Yesterday actually happen? ” I asked Scottie, who was sprawled out on the other sofa. He smiled and nodded, ” I think what you did was so incredibly brave, I know we haven’t known each other long, but I’m proud of you ” Scottie smiled. I returned a very loving smile, ” I’m proud of you too, Even tho Joe and I weren’t their ” Caspar smirked walking out of my bedroom. Joe was still asleep on the floor, I stared at Caspar.  ” Did you sleep in my room? ” I asked him. He shrugged ” Nobody else was sleeping in your bed, so…. “, I chuckled ” It’s fine “. ” Are you still coming to our party? ” Caspar asked, I nodded. ” Yeah, I need to have some fun ” I smiled, ” You deserve it! ” Joe stated as he yawned. I sighed, ” Okay! There are too many shirtless guys in my flat… ” I exclaimed. The three of the chuckled, but they took the hint and after they gathered their stuff, they left right after. I laid there for a few minutes, I wasn’t feeling the greatest, not only because I over ate last night, but because Dan wasn’t really talking to me. I had texted him all night, but he never responded and I was sick of trying. I didn’t even know if he was going to Joe and Caspar’s party, I shouldn’t even care, but we all know I did. It was 9 am, the party didn’t start until 6 pm and since I didn’t have work on the weekends, I didn’t have anything to do. I cuddled with Bernie and watched some TV, the hours seemed to fly by, right before my eyes. Around 4 pm, I finally got my lazy ass off the sofa and started to get ready. I took a shower, did my hair, put on very little makeup ( Concealer and Mascara ). Then there was a knock on the door, I already knew who it was. ” It’s Open! I haven’t got any clothes on ” I shouted a little too loudly from my bathroom, all I heard in response was Zoe laughing from the corridor. I quickly threw on some shorts and a t - shirt, just so I could run out and give her a hug. ” I missed you too Ellie ” she smiled, I chuckled. ” Is that all the makeup your wearing? ” she then asked out of the blue, I nodded. ” Why? What’s wrong with it? It’s the same amount as I always wear ” I sighed with a bit of a frown, she smiled ” Nothings wrong with it, but this is for a party, not everyday “. I chuckled ” It’s at Joe and Caspar’s flat, not at a ballroom “, she rolled her eyes. ” Why are you so afraid of makeup? ” she questioned, I shrugged ” I don’t wanna look easy “. She chuckled, ” Okay Okay, but put some lipstick on… For me ” she smiled. I nodded and smiled, ” I guess I can do that ” I stated walking into my room. Zoe followed, ” What are you going to wear? ” she asked. I shrugged ” A dress “, she smiled and nodded. I searched through the many different lipstick shades I had, ” Pink or red? ” I asked her. ” How about a lighter red ” she smiled, ” I’m looking through your wardrobe, by the way ” she then added. I chuckled and nodded. 

After she searched through my clothes, she pulled out an open back sequin skater dress that was black and white. ” I think you should wear this one ” Zoe suggested, I crinkled my nose. ” That’s a dress for a date, I was thinking of staying casual. ” So… ” I started as I walked over to my wardrobe, ” I think I’m gonna wear this dress ( A Squirrel Print Skater dress ), with some black tights and some black heal boots ” I smiled widely. She chuckled ” Only you would have a squirrel dress… Where’d you get it? “, I smirked ” I’ll tell you later, right now I must get ready! “. I dashed into the bathroom and changed, ” Is Dan going to be there? ” she asked still from in my bedroom. ” I don’t know and I don’t care ” I mumbled, ” Oh god, what’s happened? ” she asked, ” Nothing, he’s just not talking to me ” I sighed, ” Well, then. Let’s go get you a man! ” she exclaimed. I swung open the door and shook my head, ” No Thanks ” I smiled. She chuckled ” Well at least you look adorable “, I rolled my eyes. ” Thanks ” I sighed, ” Now, let’s go before I change my mind ” I stated. We walked over to Joe and Caspar’s flat, most of their friends were already there, including Scottie, Alfie and Pj ( I had already planned on drinking, for just one night. It wasn’t gonna kill me and I think I deserve one day of relaxation ). I quickly greeted everyone and then headed straight for the drinks ( Like old times ), ” Ellie, are you okay? ” Scottie asked me. I smiled ” I’m fine, I’m just annoyed “, he chuckled ” Because of Dan? “. I nodded, he hugged me slightly. ” Everything’s gonna work out, don’t worry ” he smiled, I nodded again. An hour later Dan had finally showed up, he was with Phil, but not with Beth. I had already had 3 cups of… Something and I was sitting on the sofa next to Zoe and Alfie. ” I wonder where his perfect girlfriend is? ” I whispered, Zoe only rolled her eyes. Through out the entire night, I watched as people had fun and mingled. But I was sat on the sofa, sulking, as I continued to drink heavily. I don’t know why tho, it wasn’t going to change anything, I didn’t understand why I was so angry. I guess the alcohol brought out my real feelings toward everything, I was a mess. I did however notice how much Dan was drinking as well, I could tell something was up, but I was far too mad to care. 

After 8 cups of a few different types of alcohol, I was on the verge of passing out. I was still sitting on the sofa, messing around on my phone and I was afraid to stand up ( Because I might fall ). It wasn’t long until I received a text message from Dan, - Elle, Come downstairs, we need to talk: Dan -. I rolled my eyes, - No - I replied. Then I waited for a reply, I truly wasn’t expecting one. It only took a few seconds to get one tho, - Please : Dan -. I sighed and slowly stood up, I probably shouldn’t of gone downstairs. Honestly I almost left, but I couldn’t say no to him ( Which is a problem ). I walked slowly downstairs ( Because I was dizzy ) and into Joe’s room, where Dan was just casually sitting on the bed. ” What? ” I asked rudely, he sighed ” We need to talk “. I rolled my eyes, ” Yeah, I got that. What do you wanna talk about? ” I asked. ” Beth… ” he started, but I rudely cut him off. ” I don’t wanna talk about your ’ Perfect ’ girlfriend ” I sarcastically exclaimed, he sighed deeply ( Hell Yeah, I was jealous I was always fucking jealous ). ” She doesn’t want us to be friends anymore, or hang out together ” he stated, I sighed sitting next to him on the bed, we both stank like booze. ” So… You’re telling me this why? ” I asked, he shrugged ” Because that won’t ever happen, I care about you and you care about me. There’s no denying that “. I nodded, ” I need you in my life… ” I sighed. ” What do we do? ” he asked. I shrugged ” I guess we just stay friends and keep it a secret “, he let out a deep sigh and nodded. ( I already knew what was going to happen, we’d slowly stop talking and our friendship would be over. He’d stay with Beth forever, I’d fall into a deep depression and then I’d die alone… Great ) I thought, ” Well you like nice, by the way ” he stated with a grin. I smirked ” I always look nice Dan “, he rolled his eyes. ” So where is Beth tonight? ” I asked, he sighed ” Out of town, for work “. I nodded, ” Oh… ” I stated. ” I say, we go upstairs and get a drink ” he chuckled, I smiled. ” Together? ” I asked, he nodded. ” Yeah, Beth isn’t here, so ” he smirked, I rolled my eyes and smiled. ” Let’s go ” I exclaimed standing up and dashing up the stairs, I heard him chuckle behind me as he followed. An hour went by, Dan and I hung out together, even tho we weren’t supposed too. Then things went dark, literally. I’m not sure what happened afterword, I just hoped my friends would help me get back to my flat safe and sound.

[ 6 am ] 

I sat up lazily and tried to look around, the room felt familiar, but it was still dark out ( So that’s why I couldn’t see anything ). After my eyes adjusted to the dark, I let out a sigh of relief, I was in my bedroom. I stood up and stumbled to the bathroom. Something felt off, but I wasn’t sure what that was. Until I looked down, when I realized I was completely naked ( Oh Fuck.. ). ” What the hell happened last night? Where are my clothes? ” I whispered to myself, that’s when I glanced back toward the bed. ( Oh no, Oh god ) I stared at Dan, who was ( From what I could see ) Naked as well. ( What the fuck did I do last night? ) I quickly grabbed a pair of underwear and a x - large T- shirt, then I quickly just got back in bed. I couldn’t panic, I mean I was panicking on the inside, but maybe if I pretended like I didn’t see anything, maybe things wouldn’t get awkward between us. Oh Fuck it! It was going to be awkward. ( Did we have sex?… Did I really have sex with a guy, that has a fucking girlfriend? I guess I am a slut ) I ended up falling back to sleep with those negative thoughts, so I guess some things will never change.
