"We're dynamite! We'll take you down and fight the fight!"
Reina watched her sister cheering with the blondie as she sat beside Cheryl, whom had made one of the cheers leave the chair to make space for the brunette.
"Whoo! Go Bulldogs!" Veronica exclaimed with a bright smile, stealing the attention from the pale blonde as her sister frowned.
"Who's bulldogs?" Questioning the seemingly annoyed ginger, the brunette noticed how her eyes sparked with interest, as if something had finally gained her interest.
"I know, right? Awful name for an awful team, it makes the cheerleading team shine brighter though" Cheryl whispered only for the Lodge to hear, making the woman snort as she nodded.
"Ladies, where's the heat? Where's the sizzle?" Bringing her voice louder, Reina automatically knew that those words weren't directed to her, making her eyes fly over her twin once more, catching the slightest hint of disgust before her face broke in a wide smirk, making her narrow her eyes.
"Lodge mode activated" Rei muttered to herself, matching her sister's smirk as she waited for the show.
"Well, you haven't seen our big finish yet" pulling Betty closer, who was obviously not understanding whatever plan Veronica had in mind, the duo whispered some words to each other before Vee pulled her in a kiss.
"Oh god, that was awful, you might ruin my reputation like this, cariño" Rei groaned as she watched the fake kiss, ignoring the giggles coming from some cheerleaders, which were quickly shut down by a glare coming from the red devil.
"Check your sell-by date, ladies, faux lesbian kissing hasn't been taboo since 1994. So let's see if you do better with the interview portion of our audition" The Blossom girl immediately spoke up while rolling her eyes at the girls trying out.
"Betty, how's your sister doing?" Cheryl questioned and Reina immediately noticed the hidden pain behind her eyes, making her share a look with her twin as they turned their attention to the blonde, who was now fidgeting on her place.
"Uh... Polly's fine, thanks for asking" Betty answered dumbly.
"I don't think she cares" Reina expressed her thoughts with a frown, her eyes still on the blonde who was turning red, if it was by anger or embarrassment, she wouldn't know.
"Veronica, Rei, has Betty told you about her sister yet?" The ginger asked without missing a skip, but her eyes did flicker over to the brunette by her side in curiosity.
"Uh, no"
"Ohh a ghost story, I'm all for it" Reina answered with a grin, ignoring the glare coming from the Cooper as she looked down at her bruised knuckles.
"Go ahead, Betty. Tell the twins about your sister and my dear brother" Cheryl pressed, immediately catching the twins' attention back on the story which was actually becoming a ghost story by now.
"Polly and Jason dated"
"I wouldn't say dated" The newly single child interrupted, glaring at the girl.
"It didn't end well"
"In fact, Jason's probably why your sister had a nervous breakdown and now lives in a group home, isn't it?"
A snort interrupted the serious conversation, making Reina excuse herself as she muttered a "Sorry, just remembered something" making Veronica look away, hoping to not start laughing as the memory her hit too.
"That's what my parents think" Betty avoided the question.
"What do you have to say about that, Betty? Go ahead, the floor is yours. Whatever you've been dying to spew about Jason and how he treated Polly, unleash it. Destroy me." Cheryl hissed while leaning forward.
