Twins

Twins have appeared in many mythologies around the world, some of them are seen as ominous figures, other are said to be a rare and fortunate event.

The two halves of the same while, sharing a bond deeper than any 'ordinary' siblings or seeing as rivals.

Many myths have even told tales about them being complete opposites, one good and the other evil, one that brought light while the other darkness, but that wasn't the case of the Lodge twins.

The Lodge twins were said to be the evil incarnated, to have followed their father's steps, making the world shake in fear just by the click of their high heels.

And they did with mastery.

They weren't rivals, but they knew how to be queens, both acting on different occasions, one preferring to be the Queen Bee of the school while the other ran along with the bad crowd.

Veronica Lodge was the heartbreaker, she knew how to manipulate someone and was an expert in dismissing them after their job was done.

Veronica was a heart's player.

Reina had a temper that would put her father's to shame, not having the patience nor the need to feel loved as she used people, she was a master in making others obey her by imposing pure fear.

Reina was a physical player.

It didn't mean she was stupid.

Veronica was academically more prolific than her, her grades always being the highest they could be as she helped her twin with the classes that didn't involve numbers, which Reina completely sucked.

Reina's analytical mind was sharper than anyone else in the family, however, and her father had quickly found use in it, often asking her to accompany him to his business trips and meetings as she gave her insight of each business and possible escapes.

While they were indeed pretty different, they couldn't have a deeper bond.

The twins were inseparable and Veronica would always choose Reina first and the same would happen to the older girl.

Veronica would help her twin emotionally, considering how Reina seemed to be extremely closed off when it came to feelings, while Reina would beat up anyone that dared to look at Ronnie in a way she didn't like.

And everyone knew that.

Even though they walked with different groups, seeing as Veronica would often stay with the popular crowd and play her part as the queen of the school and Reina would hang out with the messed up kids or the infamous bad guys of the school, they would never avoid one another when they met on the corridors or when they shared a class.

They had their own rules: Twins First.

So when they were suddenly downgraded from the illustrious New York to a place called Riverdale, which Reina wouldn't ever think it was a real place if her twin hadn't affirmed, with their father currently in jail, they wouldn't suddenly break the rule.

It was twins first and they would bring hell to anyone that messed with their other half, they were Lodges after all, making lives' hell was the specialty of the house.

"Ugh God, I'm already dreading it, I didn't even think it was possible to get pre-annoyed" Reina mumbled once she read the city's sign, making her twin giggle, looking up from her phone while their mother rolled her eyes.
