"I am in a mood to make some bad life choices!"

"Don't sound so excited about it"

"What is this godawful smell?" Hermione questioned, wrinkling her nose, as she entered the principal's office

"What is this godawful smell?" Hermione questioned, wrinkling her nose, as she entered the principal's office.

There she found her twins sitting side by side, with Reina looking boredom at the Principal while Veronica looked at the window, attempting to hide her grin.

The mother had been called for the first time to deal with their 'disturbing attitude' or whatever the hell that meant.

Usually Hiram would be the one to go, since both Reina and Veronica got along better with him and knew they wouldn't get in trouble.

In fact, Hiram would even take them out to celebrate, saying that standing up for the family was the most important thing they would ever do.

It was.

But he never truly understood that Reina and Veronica would only go to certain lengths to protect each other.

Not him

Not Hermione

Only themselves

Hermione usually got to know what they did when it was something light, like slamming someone's head into the shit.

Because it would turn into news.

But she would never know just how much Reina had done in the shadows, some things much darker and unthinkable for someone of her age.

But Hiram did know.

Someone had to take care of the trash and everyone knew that accidents happened... Reina had just turned out to be one of the deadliest 'Accidents' one could have.

Sniffing the air, Reina waved her hand at her mother while answering bluntly "It's shit" leaning her head to the side to look at her mom, who then frowned at her choice of words.

"Reina!" Hermione Lodge scolded quietly, giving the man a small smile as she sat beside the oldest twin.

"What? It is!" The ravenette answered in disbelief, throwing her hands in the air in frustration as her twin giggled.

"She's serious, mom"

Principal Weatherbee couldn't help but gulp when he noticed the lack of surprise on Hermione's face, as if it was an usual thing around the trouble twins.
