Cheryl Blossom was not looking forward to this party, nor to the people that would be there or rather for those who wouldn't.
It would be her first time going to a supposedly 'celebration' without her twin and quite frankly, she didn't have anything to celebrate at all.
Her eyes had been glued on the ceiling of her room for hours now, contemplating if this little show was worthy, faking perfection, faking she was fine when that was everything she wasn't.
She was tired.
The ginger didn't even have a dress for the event that would happen that night and that was something considering how she would usually have everything ready months before.
But how could she when the person that would accompany her to the mall and help her choose her dress was pretty much gone now?
At least he wasn't stuck in that hell that was their home.
A small smile appeared on her lips at the thought.
Perhaps he was better now that he was free, away from their controlling parents that judged people for not having the red pigment on their hair or not being rich like them.
She could only hope he was happy now.
Her parents had pretty much shut her down after Jason's supposed death, not caring for their living child which they made sure to tell how unhappy they were that it wasn't her that was killed.
And inside the massive walls of the mansion she called home, Cheryl couldn't help but feel even lonelier now than she was before, for she had lost the only one that truly cared for her well being.
Sighing, the ginger stood from her bed and descended the stairs of Thornhill hearing her mother and father whisper shouting at each other for something she couldn't care enough to know.
To be fair, she didn't have the energy to try and figure out.
The sound of the doorbell took her attention off her now glaring parents and she didn't wait for a maid to answer whoever it was, going towards it in an attempt to be as far as possible from the craziness of the family.
She couldn't measure how many times she had crossed that same door and wished for the same thing Jason had... what would happen if she too escaped?
Her soft fingers wrapped around the handle and a shocked expression appeared on her features at the person that stood on the other side.
"Darling, just the person I was looking for" Reina greeted with a grin, leaning against the door frame as she waited for Cheryl's reply.
"Rei! What are you doing here?" Despite her confusion, the ginger couldn't help the small smile that was now playing on her lips.
The brunette stood there with a gorgeous dress fitting her body, her sharp features marked with dark make up and a big red box on her hands.
Behind her, a black convertible Jaguar, a car that matched Reina pretty well in Cheryl's opinion.
"Got you a little something for tonight" The Lodge answered with a shrug, her lips tilting in a smirk once she noticed the curiosity painted on the ginger's face.
"You got me a gift?" The Blossom girl questioned skeptically, biting her bottom lip as her eyes sparkled, looking down at the box.
"Mmhmm" nodding Reina entered the mansion as Cheryl signaled for her to do so, closing the door behind them as the red haired queen bee led them to her room.
Cheryl's room was just as red as her and that didn't surprise Reina, they do say that a room can tell a lot about someone.
Placing the box on the bed, Rei sat down on a free armchair as she observed the ginger, who was looking at the box as if something was about to pounce on her.
"Darling, nothing inside this box will attack you" Reina assured the girl with a chuckle, letting her head rest on her palm as she watched Cheryl in amusement.
"Why should I trust you?" The twinless female questioned, hiding her smile, as her index finger neared the cover.
"I tell no lies, if anything here could pounce on you, that would probably be me and not the gift I brought for you" Reina answered bluntly, grinning when she saw the faint blush on Cheryl's face.
Clearing her throat, the ginger carefully opened the box, gasping softly once she saw the red dress and shoes laying inside of it.
She took the dress in her hands and raised it from the box, placing it over her body as she gazed at herself in the mirror before a soft whisper fell from her lips.
"It's beautiful"
"I'm glad you like it, now go get changed or we will be way past the fashionably late for this party"
Cheryl smiled at this and run to her bathroom, starting to get get ready as Reina played in her phone, waiting for her.
"Can you help me with my hair?" The voice came from the bathroom, making Reina look up from the screen of her phone as she stared at the ginger, who was wearing a red robe with her make up done.
"I can try. Come here, doll" Cheryl quickly took a cushion and placed it in front of the brunette, letting her dark red hair fall in locks behind her back as Reina started to dry it in waves.
Her fingers were soft against the ginger's hair, being careful to not hurt, much different from Penelope Blossom, who would almost tear off her scalp.
It was nice
When Cheryl was done, she put on the dress and shoes as well as some jewelry she owned, smiling shyly at Reina, a certain new look for the Blossom.
"I'm ready, Rei"
"You look ravishing, princess, let's go"
Following the brunette outside, Reina opened the door for Cheryl and the ginger sat on the passenger side while Reina went over to the driver's, grinning at the ginger before she seemed to remember something.
"Oh, if I wasn't clear, you're my date tonight"
