Chapter 10

Just like Dumbledore said, Y/N will be released from the Hospital Wing after a day. However, she didn't escape from her Slytherin friends' questioning when she came back to her dormitory.

"What happened to you, Y/L/N? We never saw you for a whole week" Millie asked sitting next to Y/N in her bed. The Y/H/C-haired girl only shrugged trying to look innocent.

"Oh, please" Pansy started. "Do you know how worried we all were?" She said giving Y/N a pointed look. The girl sank down her bed scratching her wrist, but quickly moved to the back of her head when someone slapped her from behind.

"What was that for?" Y/N whined looking back seeing Zendaya crossing her arms.

"You're so stupid"

"What did I do to you?"

"Don't give me that tone, Y/L/N. Do you know how we panicked when Draco came back to the common room running and telling us you were in Hagrid's arms unconscious from the Dark Forest?" Zendaya sighed and slapped Y/N from the back of her head again.

"Stop being so sadistic" Y/N hissed at the pain rubbing the back of her head.

"What in the world happened to you?" Y/N looked at Millie besides her and took a deep breath before telling the whole story.

Y/N received another slap from the back of her head after telling what happened.

"Would you stop it?" Y/N glared at Zendaya who only huffed at the girl.

"You are such an Idiot" Pansy said arching her eyebrows at Y/N. The Y/H/C-haired girl only groaned falling to her bed face first. The girls continued to scold Y/N who is starting to fall asleep not hearing any sound anymore.

"Where are we going, Professor Snape?" Y/N looked up to the raven haired man while trying to catch up the pace.

"We are going to check on that arm of yours-" The man stopped in his tracks when he saw the three Gryffindor trio in front of him. Y/N turned her eyes and landed on the bushy-haired girl whose eyes widening seeing Snape.

"What are you doing here?" Snape asked looking at the three an eyebrow rising.

"W-we are-" Y/N bites her cheeks trying to hide her laughter at the Gryffindor girl's stuttering.

"I suggest you three to go out before I-" Snape turned to Harry narrowing his eyes "Think you're up to something"

The trio nervously laughed before turning their gazes at Y/N who is turning red trying so hard not to laugh. Snape turned and left Y/N bowed at them as a Goodbye before running to catch up with Snape.

Y/N is now sitting in front of Snape's table, her arm laying on top. A shape is forming in the girl's forearm. It's not that noticeable yet when you only look at it from afar. But when you stared at it, it can clearly be seen.

The room was silent while Snape is observing Y/N's forearm. The girl sitting there awkwardly quiet.

"Is this thing patched in your skin before?" Snape started looking at Y/N curiously. She shakes her head 'no' that made Snape to humm softly.

"Immediately go to the Hospital Wing if you feel something in your forearm." Y/N nodded. Snape gestured the door for her to leave, which she quickly did.

As Y/N turned to a corner she heard muffled voices ahead. When she got near she saw the trio whispering at each other in an empty hallway. Y/N not giving a care to what they are talking about she continued to walk not looking at their direction.

"Tonight let's meet at the 3rd floor" She heard Harry said but they stopped talking when they saw Y/N walking across from them. They Slytherin girl didn't mind their eyes staring at her as she continued to walk away looking as if she didn't heard anything until she turned in a corner.

When the Slytherin group are hanging out in the courtyard. Y/N laying her head down on Theodore's lap as she continued to read on her Potions book trying to catch up with her missed lessons. Millie having a conversation with Blaise and Zendaya, while Draco is having their own conversation with his goons and Pansy. All of them scattered around the tree as they converse.

"Do you think I can join the Quidditch team next year?" Theo said suddenly looking down on the girl reading on his lap.

"You can actually, we'll be in our second year. We can have our own brooms soon." Y/N answered not taking her eyes off of the book she is reading.

Theodore hummed and said "We can go look at the new broom that's going to be released in a few months. We're all going to meet at Diagon Alley right?"

"Yep, maybe I can find a new quill too" Y/N sat up and closed her book leaving a bookmark on where she stopped. She sighed at the peaceful surrounding she is at, closing her eyes wishing it'll be like this forever.

It didn't last long, Y/N opened her eyes when she heard Draco insulting someone and everyone laughing. She turned her head to where they are sitted and saw the Golden Trio walking across from them.

"Potter" Draco stood up a smirk forming in his lips walking towards Harry. The raven-haired boy stopped and looked at Draco unamused.

"Heard you crying in halls yesterday, what's wrong? Mommy didn't gave you a candy?" He laughed so was his goons and Pansy. "Oh wait, I forgot. You don't have one" Laughter erupted and Harry tried to lunged at Draco but he was pulled back by Hermione.

"Aww, having a mudblood fight for you?" Y/N can see Hermione flinch at the word before tugging Harry and Ron to walk away. When they are out of sight Draco went back to Goyle and high fived each other.

"Why are they so childish" Millie said behind Y/N which made the girl to jump slightly. Y/N looked at her laughing and hitting her arm playfully.

"Honestly, I have no idea"

Y/N arrived at the Library gripping the books she borrowed. When she entered the place no one was there except for a certain brown bushy-haired girl in the second row table books scattered around her. Y/N placed the books she have at the counter leaving a note and walked towards Hermione.

Sitting down next to her, Hermione didn't seem to notice the Slytherin girl besides her. Y/N coughed that made her to stop reading and looked up.

"What, you here to continue the insults Malfoy started?" She snapped, Y/N was taken aback with the harsh tone Hermione gave her.

"No, I'm just here to check if you're okay" Y/N mumbled quietly looking down on her lap.

"Please, just leave me alone" Hermione's voice cracked as if she was starting to cry. Y/N looked at the girl softly before leaving a sigh. She stands up and walk besides Hermione pulling her head and giving her a hug. The bushy-haired girl didn't expect this action that made her to jump slightly before gripping into Y/N jumper while she cry.

"I'm sorry for what Draco said about you" Y/N patted Hermione's head when she hears the girl starts to sob.

"You shouldn't be apologizing, he's your friend" Hermione said but it was a bit muffled because her face was covered.

"No, I don't tolerate that kind of jokes."

They stayed in that position until Hermione stopped crying. Y/N comforting the bushy-haired girl as they talked till Curfew and then they separated back to their own common rooms.
