Confusion, Gah!

I looked up to see six pairs of eyes staring at me. Four pairs looked unfriendly while the remaining two green pairs looked unreadable.
“Hi,” I barely made it audible in the noisy room.
“Excuse me,” one of the slutty girls who was the closest to the twins raised her eyebrow at me, obviously annoyed like her friends, “I believe that we don’t know you, and we’re busy – go find someone else to interrupt.”
“Sorry?” John looked at the girl, mirroring her expression, “I think you are the ones that we don’t know…” John turned to gaze at me as his twin remained silent next to him, “Hi (Yn).”
“Why don’t you sit with us,” Edward asked – more like ordered – me, and jumped down from his seat and it was obvious that he was moving to the next seat, so the two girls out of the four who were clattering around that seat had to stand back to let Edward occupy that seat. I could see a corner of his mouth had lifted slightly. Dang. Was he smiling?
I bit my lip hesitantly, and slid onto the seat that Edward had just sat on, leaning my back on the bar table, just like the twins.
I looked up to see my friends retreating to our previous gathering place. I widened my eyes at them, secretly cursing at the giggling three girls. How could they leave me alone after making me approach the twins?
“Why don’t you all come with us to our table?” another girl tried desperately as they could see I was with the twins now. She sounded strained.
“We’re comfortable here, thanks,” John said with a tight voice and looked at the girl who had just spoken meaningfully. When he could see that they were not about to make a move to go away, without warning, John casually rested his arm on the bar table behind my back and let it fell around me. Edward also raised his elbow and rested it on the bar table so his fingers were brushing against my bare arm.
I thought I nearly died here. WHOA.
The girls gazed at John’s arm and Edward’s hand with wide eyes and with one last grumpy glance at me, they walked away, swaying their hips with more effort than necessary.
“Finally,” John said relatively quietly, so only I could hear him despite the super loud music.
Silence.
“Umm,” I began, trying to break the silence as the twins both looked at me expectantly, making me nervous. They still had not moved their arms away and my heart felt like it would burst through my body any moment, “It’s nice seeing you two outside school… What brings you here?”
“Heard that this bar is cool from a friend,” John replied, gazing at me deeply, still not a hint of emotion on his face – I wondered if they were always like this, without emotion, as that smile-like face was the closest of emotional display I had witnessed on them.
“And it seems like it’s true,” Edward added, and I looked at him in time to see he was giving me a scan. WHAT?
Okay, this was too much to take. I needed to escape from all these.
“Err, if you would excuse me…” I hopped down the stool, and turned back to address them, “I – I’ll be back…” I trailed off, and dashed towards the toilet.
Once inside the toilet, I locked myself inside the cubicle and took a deep breath, steadying myself. My thoughts were all jumbled together now. Why were they acting like this? It was all so weird. We barely knew one another and, now this?
After a few minutes I heard Sandy calling me.
“(Yn)!” she called, “Are you alright in there?”
“I’m okay,” I shouted back, and unlocked the cubical to let myself out.
Sandy was standing by the row of sinks, and I walked over to one of them to wash my hands. The cool water felt nice against my heated skin. Almost every inch of my skin had been set on fire after the encounter with the twins.
“You really okay?” Sandy asked, concerned, although I could see her grinning like an idiot from the reflection of the mirror.
“Yes,” I snapped, “Thanks to you.”
“You should really thank us you know,” she could not wipe that smug grin of hers off her face, “Now our suspicion is confirmed – did you see how possessive they were? You could actually see it in their eyes! They fancy you, (Yn).”
“Shut up!” I hit Sandy’s arm playfully, “I don’t need you to mix up my thoughts when they’re confusing already.”
“Okay, okay,” she raised her hands in defeat, but was still smirking, “I’ll leave you to it – get them! They’re apparently yours already—”
“Shut up!” I hit her again and marched out of the toilet, and as I exited the toilet, I bumped into someone.
“I’m sor—” I looked up and froze as I saw those familiar green eyes looking down at me – John.
“Sorry,” I finished my apology, and John simply nodded at me, cold and distant once again. Now I could not help but started to wonder if they had multiple personalities.
I walked past the bar with Sandy beside me and I was debating which side to join when I caught Edward staring at me. But he quickly looked away when he saw me looking. Whoa, this was a change – but why? God, they were so weird. And they were starting to piss me off now. One second they were all friendly and nice and cozy with me, then the next they were like strangers again. WHY? It was obvious that they did not welcome my presence now. Were they just using me to make those girls to go away?
“See?” I told Sandy, annoyed, as she looked at me with her brows furrowed, confused, “You’re wrong. They don’t fancy me, okay?”
“Well…” Sandy seemed to be lost at words, but she was still deep in thought thinking about the whole situation, I could tell.
I joined my three friends again, and we discussed about their weird behavior. They could clearly see what had happened just then, and not long later, John returned to Edward’s side and they were just sipping their drinks, talking, looking anywhere but me.
I did not know why but, I felt like losing myself in alcohol. It was not because of the twins, okay. IT WAS NOT. This was what I told my friends too.
I had had a couple of drinks by now, and I was slightly drunk, but I was still myself. My head was not affected… Yet.
Suddenly, the song Sexin’ on the Dance Floor came up and my eyes lit up in delight.
“Oh God I love this song!” I squeaked, “Let’s dance!”
I grabbed Yvonne and Joan’s hands so Sandy had to follow us to the dance floor too.
“Sexin' on the dance floor
Gettin' hot hot sexin' on the dance floor
Gettin' hot hot sexin' on the dance floor”
I was just starting to dance when my friends stared behind me grinning, and they started to back away from me. I was about to ask them what was up when two hands rested on my waist from behind and a tall figure came in front of me.
I was sandwiched between John and Edward Grimes.
