An odd to three Goslings, on a bright Summer's eve

Oh the geese do swim, and the geese do fly,
to where and whence, I wonder why.
Across the deepest reservoir,
to honk so loud, at those so far.

Perhaps some day we might well know,
why indeed they do just so?
But until that day we'll merely laugh,
and honk when they come by our path!
