A week later, Eloise interrupts Kyouya in the midst of his "work".
He looks up from the screen of his laptop and finds Eloise standing before him, her green irises fixated upon him and a hand on her hip.
"I hope this is something relevant, Eloise." he states, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose before beginning to type again.
Said girl rolled her eyes, "Oh believe me, Kyouya, it is." she says in a convincing voice, enough to make Kyouya half-heartedly listen.
"Is that so?" he teases. "Well then, take a seat." he motions for Eloise to sit on the chair in front of him.
"There's something you're not telling everyone," she starts, putting a leg over the other. "and I have a feeling that it has something to do with Nodoka."
Ah... so it's true. She is the source of Nodoka's abrupt guessings.
Kyouya remains irresponsive to Eloise's current judgment, instead both his hands continued to move at its own pace on the keyboard while his eyes scanned the Host Club's weekly profit record.
"Don't ignore me, I'm talking to you." Eloise's eyerbrows furrowed, she was beginning to grow impatient and obviously irked by the raven's demeanor.
"Get to the point, then."
Eloise grunts, a little out of her character, yes. But Kyouya was pushing her buttons right now and they all seem to be the correct ones, "What I'm saying here is, are you the guy Nodoka was talking about?"
The status of our club's profits seemed to have improved. Well, that's no surprise. We did gain a few more customers over the course of 2 weeks. Maybe it's because of the addition of a new member, or that we had new tea sets, or Tamaki becoming more and more flamboyant with his acts-
"Are you Anon?" she finally asks.
Kyouya's calloused fingers stop hovering along the keys and his eyes slowly glide to Eloise's perplexed face which slowly contorted to a 'gotcha' look.
"I figured that you'd find out." he doesn't have to deny anything, it ends here.
They stayed in silence before Eloise spoke, "I was the person she went to for help... considering that I was the only one left in the hallway that day but nonetheless, it was me. She was looking for a guy with black hair and I remembered you, no? I mean, what kind of girl wouldn't look for you?" she says then adding an afterthought. "Someone like me, of course."
"Your point being?"
"My point being, have you told her that you're the one she's talking to?"
"Excuse me?" he rose a brow.
"She told me things, Kyouya. There was barely any difference between a written perspective of you and from the one I'm talking to as of now."
"She told you something, that's odd. She's usually-"
"Evasive, aloof." she says, throwing in her own two cents. "I know. Everyone knows! And news flash! She's beginning to step out of her comfort zone, she's trying many different things, she's establishing a different side of hers. A side of her that could pull her away from who she used to be. She's meeting tons of people and there's many more to come, if you don't act now, what will become of the two of you?"
The brunette definitely has a point. If Nodoka was launching a new her, someone different from the evasive girl she used to be then he'd get left behind. There will come a time where Nodoka would get tired of unraveling his written identity and talk to people that she could actually see... compared to him.
And that scares him. Enough to commence meeting with her personally.
"I wanna meet you."
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) what did i tell you all?
