How we met- Thor Odinson

"Okay, all I need is juice, butter, and some ground beef" You said aloud to yourself. You walked into the supermarket with those three things were running through your mind. You spent only 20 minutes in the store- making sure you didn't veer off and grab these you didn't need.

"Okay, this is good timing. If traffic's not too bad, I should be at Momma's house in the next 15 minutes" You mumbled, walking to your car. You and your siblings were surprising your mother with a big dinner- and you needed to be at her house so you could hurry up and start cooking.

Once in the car, you called your sister and put her on speaker phone

"Hey, you on your way?" Your big sister, Natalie, asked

"Yeah. I got the ground beef and stuff. I'll be there in 15–20 minutes" you responded

"Okay. Mama not gon be back til 5:00 anyways so we got time"

You guys stayed on the phone for another 5 minutes before you hung up and started the car. Just as you were about to back up, something flew through your back window, startling you.

"WHAT THE FUCK" you screamed, ducking in your seat. After a few moments, you got the courage to sit up and look in the back seat.

You seen a large hammer laying on the floor.

"A hammer?" You asked in pure disbelief

You got out the car and looked at the back window

"Oh my gosh" you groaned

"Excuse me miss" you heard a loud, deep voice call out. You turned around and seen a large, blond man walking towards you.

"Have you seen a hammer by any chance?"

"Oh, so the hammer that just flew through my window is yours?" You asked. He nodded and smiled brightly "it is, can I have it back?"

"Of course" you said "As soon as you give me the money to pay for my window"

"Oh, I would. But I don't think Asgardian currency works here" He shrugged

Asgardian coins?

"Look dude, unless you wanna be sued-"

"Sued? How dare you try and threaten God of thunder"

"Sir I don't give a damn about all that." you said bluntly

"Look, I swear to you that I'll have your vehicle fixed. You don't need to worry" He said, "Now can I have my hammer back?"

"You can have it back when you get my car fixed" You shrugged

The man rolled his eyes and pushed you to the side, going to your car and opening the door- pulling his hammer out.

"No, you can't have it until my car is fixed!" You screamed, snatching the hammer from him.

He stood there, staring at you with a shocked expression.

"What?" You asked

"What's your name madam?" He asked you quickly- still staring at you with the same expression.

"Y/n" you answer

"How are you able to lift the hammer? Only the worthy can lift the hammer" he asked

You were beyond confused now.

"Can you come back to the avengers compound with me?" He asked

Then it hit you. Why did it click so late? You have no idea

Honestly, if the hammer, cape, or hair didn't tip you off- then the mentioning of being the God of thunder should have.

"OH MY GOD YOU'RE THOR" You basically screamed. You looked at the hammer and realized you were holding it

"OH MY GOD IM HOLDING THE HAMMER" you screamed louder

He shushed you as you began to freak out more.

"How did I not realize who you were? I can't be that damn slow" You mumbled, pacing nervously

"Madam, people are now staring. We need to go back to the avengers compound"

"But I'm supposed to make my mama dinner!"

"We'll bring your mother there too- we just really need to go now"

"Okay, should we take my car? I mean, I think it still works despite your hammer going through the-"

"I'll have someone come pick up the car so it can be fixed, CAN WE PLEASE GO NOW?"

You nodded and handed him the hammer back. He grabbed you and you two started to fly to the compound
