Divorce- Thor Odinson

I had experienced heartbreak before.

Ricky McDonald, freshman year, dumped me for a senior who used him to get to his older brother.

Devonté Edwards, cheated on me with my coworker.

Both of those situations left me a crying mess. I sobbed for a week straight with Ricky and could barely eat after Devonté.

My point is, I knew how bad a heartbreak could hurt. But this, this was something different.

Maybe it was because we were married, or maybe because I never thought he would do anything like that to me.

Whatever the reason was, it left me so broken and depressed that I could barely function.

It was a Thursday. Thor was supposed to come home.

He had been traveling with Loki, Steve, Sam, Bucky, Vision, Clint, Bruce, and Tony.

"A guys trip" is what Tony called it.

I had no problems with that. Lord knows I wanted Thor to have a nice time. I was visiting my family anyways- so it was good he kept himself occupied.

We both agreed to come home Thursday. That would have been two weeks since we both left on our respective trips.

Steve and Bruce assured me that they would keep my husband out of trouble.

I laughed it off then, thinking Thor would never get in any trouble. He had too much respect for me.

Or...I thought he did.

Fast forward to Thursday evening. I expected my husband home around noon but he didn't come. I drove to the avengers tower around 5:00- hoping he was there.

When I walked in, I was greeted by all the men. They all expressed how good it was to see me and all of that...

"So, y/n, where's Thor? Did he stay home?" Tony asked

My eyes damn near popped outta my head.

"What do you mean where's Thor? He was with you guys" I said

"Yeah....but he left the trip two days ago saying he was going to visit you" Bruce informed me

Right then and there is when I started thinking the worst. I began pacing around the room- the boys attempting to calm me down.

It wasn't until Loki walked in that I started to relax. Surely he knows where Thor was, right?

"Ah, my sister in law" Loki said with his usual sarcastic tone. It wasn't until he saw my facial expression that he realized something was going on

"Why do you look so upset?" He asked

"Thor is missing" Sam informed him

"I thought you two were to meet up in Paris?" Loki questioned.

The look on Tony's face proved he had figured out what happened. So had I. Everyone else was a bit confused.

"Thor told them he was coming back early to see me, then told you he was meeting me in Paris?" I asked with an annoyed giggle

I knew exactly where my husband was.

Before we both left for our trips, he brought up  that his ex- Jane- was receiving an award at some kind of ceremony in Paris.
