The One To Save You || Luke Hemmings

Chapter 28:

Rose's P.O.V. -

It's been about a month since that whole mixup happened between me and Luke, but we've gotten over it. We talk a lot more now, especially on FaceTime.

I didn't believe him at first, but now I can really tell that he doesn't want to lose me, and that he's only thinking about me.

He always seems so sad when I have to go to bed early cause of school. It's like he never wants to leave me. Actually, he seems sad all the time, I don't know what's wrong.

There's another 2 months of the tour, and I feel like he might not get any better.

I should really find out what's up with Luke, but every time I ask him what's wrong he tells me he's fine.

So I'll call Ash instead.

Ashton's P.O.V. -

Oh look. Rosie's calling! I haven't talked to her in forever.

"Hey Ro Ro Ro your boat!!" I yelled.

"Hey Ash. How've you been?"

She didn't sound too happy.

"I'm doing great. Missing you tons. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, but I don't know about Luke. Has he been acting different around you guys?"

"Actually, know that I think of it, yeah, he has. He's always moping around. He doesn't seem happy too often." I answered. It was honestly the truth. He never smiles anymore. He barely even talks to us.

"Oh gosh... I wonder what's wrong.." It sounded like she was crying.

"Oh Ro please don't cry. He's gonna be fine I promise. I think he's just homesick and stuff."

"But he seems so much more upset than just that..."

"Hey Ash, who're you talking to..?" Luke came through the door just then.

"You can tell him." I heard Rose whisper.

"I'm talking to Rosie. Luke, are you okay? We both discussed and said that you haven't been acting like you usually do. You never smile anymore, Luke, and were concerned."

"I'm fine. I just, I miss Rose so much. And being on your is so stressful. It's hard to have fun sometimes."

"Oh Luke. I'm gonna be here when you come back. Have fun!" Rose said through the phone loud enough for him to hear.

"I miss you, Ro." He smiled.

"He smiled!!!" I yelled to Rosie.

"Yesss!!! Lukey Pukey is back!!"

"Thanks for caring, guys." He said.

"No problem."

And then the phone call ended.

Rose's P.O.V. -

Okay, so it's the 23rd. My flight is tonight, so I should probably start heading to the airport. My bag was packed, enough clothes to last the time I'm there, and I have all my other essentials with me.

Off to the airport I go.

*skip bag check and the plane ride*

I just arrived in Greenwich, England and wow, it's beautiful here.

There's so many people here, too. The weather is pretty nice; not too warm, not too cold.

I checked into my hotel to put away my bags before I went to get food at a local restaurant. I got fish and chips to go to avoid any talk with people.

By the time I finished my food in my hotel room, it was 9:30. I had a pretty big day tomorrow and I should get to the concert around 5, so I decided to get to bed.

Luke's P.O.V. -

Wow. The O2 arena. I never in a million years would've thought I'd be playing here.

The weirdest thing just happened:

We were walking through the streets, and I swear I saw Rose walking into a restaurant.

I'm just seeing things from missing her so much.

I can't wait for this concert. I wrote a new song and I think it's one of my best. I write it by myself; the boys don't even know about it. I'm going to perform it tomorrow and then sing it to Rose over FaceTime if the fans liked it.

It's 11:00 now, and I've got a huge show tomorrow, so it's time to go to bed.
