The One To Save You || Luke Hemmings

Chapter 21:

Rose's P.O.V. -

"oh c'mon you love birds."

"save it for later!"

"geez get a bed!"

I swear, sometimes these boys really do ruin perfect moments.

Well, it had to happen anyway.

"Now let's go home." Ashton whined.

"You guys can all come back to my place. I already talked to my mom about it and she said it'd be fine." Luke spoke up.

For some reason, meeting Luke's family suddenly scared the shit out of me.

I hope they're all as nice as him and his mom, because then I won't mind a single bit.

We hopped in the car and drove to Luke's house, blasting some All Time Low, Nirvana, and Green Day on the way.

I was too nervous to sing along, though, so I sat next to the window watching the trees pass by outside.

The boys were all screaming the lyrics, though, and Luke must've knew there was something wrong since I wasn't singing.

"Hey Ro. There's no reason to be scared. My mom already loves you, and I know the rest of the family will. I just hope my brothers don't embarrass me." Luke whispered in my ear, laughing nervously at the end.

"I'll try my best." I responded back. He got right back to his singing, but held my hand while he did.

I kept my eyes out the window, observing the scenery.

We pulled into a drive way which of course was Luke's.

My hands were sweating buckets.

"Rosie calm down. They're just my family, not the president! He said, kissing my forehead. Since I'm shorter than him, he does that a lot.

Before we even reached the end of the driveway, two boys bolted out of the front door of Luke's house.

"Oooh Lucas is this your girl that you never stop talking about?" The taller one said teasingly.

"Well mate, you did good." The other said.

They both looked like Luke, but older and with a bit of a change in features.

"Ben, Jack, this is my girlfriend Rose." He explained.

"Rosie, these are my older brothers Ben and Jack."

I shoot each of their hands and smiled as wide as I could being how nervous I was.

"MOMM, DAAADD, LUKE IS HOME WITH HIS BANDMATES AND HIS GIRRRRLLLFRIENNDDDD!" Jack yelled running into the house. Ben followed behind him and they shut the door as they walked in.

"2 down, 1 to go." Luke said to me enthusiastically.

When we walked into the house, Luke's parents were waiting right next to the door.

"Hii Rosie!" Liz greeted me with a huge smile and an even bigger hug.

"This is my husband, Andrew." She said, motioning toward the man standing next to her.

"Andy, Andrew, whatever you want to call me, Rose. Just not Mr. Hemmings, cause then I feel old!" He laughed a bit, holding out his hand for me to shake. Of course, I shook it back.

That's just like what Liz said when I met her.

This family is already so sweet. I wish I had a family like that.

The boys and I all ended up stayed for dinner and afterwards, we played board games and charades.

The boys all eventually left one by one, leaving only me at Luke's house.
