Luke's P.O.V. -

She was so much more beautiful when you're close to her.

Rose Tomsen. Rose is such a pretty name. It goes perfectly with her beautiful everything else. Damnit, why must she do this to me? Every time I see her, I lose my breath. I know it's her first day here and that she barely even knows me, but I want to make sure she never forgets who I am. She's different than other girls. They usually through themselves on me. But her? She acted so cool and she talked like we were best friends. And she's so much prettier than other girls.

Since the second we exchanged numbers when I knocked her over, we've been texting. We've just been telling each other important things we should know about each other. She told me to call her Rosie. And I found out that she met the rest of my band! That's so cool. I hope she thinks were good. And more importantly, I hope she thinks I'm good. She has such a great taste in music. It's all pop rock and punk, just like mine! That makes her even better.

She also told me she lives alone. I know that asking her why will be a serious topic, so I'll bring that up in person so that I can comfort her if she cries.

She's so amazing. She doesn't deserve to be crying. If she ever becomes my girlfriend, I'll make sure shes always happy, because her happiness means the world to me.

Shit.

I'm falling for Rosie, and I'm falling fast...

Rose's P.O.V. -

Delilah and I finally made it to Abigail's house. Luke and I were texting the whole time. He's actually really sweet and no, he doesn't have a girlfriend, which is really good.

And i didn't realize it until he told me; he's the Luke that completes Ashton's band.

I really have to hear them play sometime.

At Abigail's house we talked about schedules, new friends I met, and of course - boys. I only met four boys at school, who somehow are all in the band '5 Seconds Of Summer'. But they're all really nice, and I'll definitely be hanging out with each of them soon.

She showed me videos of them playing - they're amazing! And I'm not just saying that cause I'm friends with them.

I can't believe I've never heard of them, because they're my kind of music. But now that I know how good they are, I've got to text Luke.

R: omg luke, you're band is sooo good! ;)
L: I basically ruin it. I can't sing. :(
R: are you kidding?! your voice is amazing. I could listen to it all day!
L: well you should come to one of our practices. we have one tomorrow, so maybe after Starbucks you could hang at my house for a little and then we'd head over?

I wasn't going to say no...

R: sounds great! see ya then! :) xx
L: okay cool. see ya babe! xx

I was so excited for tomorrow to come. But I was also nervous. I don't know why, being that I know all four of the boys so well. Whatever.

Abigail and I decided to play would you rather.

"Would you rather be allergic to water or the sun?" I asked.

"Water. Now it's my turn!"

Oh gosh...

"Would you rather make out with Luke or Calum?"

What?

"OH MY GOSH ABIGAIL!" I yelled as I fake slapped her arm.

I mean, they were nice, but I wouldn't do either of those things. I just met them today.

"What?! I thought that was a reasonable question!" she giggled.

"How?!" I answered back.

"Ro, I've seen how you look when you're talking about Luke. You have a gleam in your eye that's only there when you talk about him.."

I looked down at my hands and blushed. Did that really happen when I talked about him? No, she was probably just joking with me. I just met him today..

She must've saw how uncomfortable I was, cause she spoke up first.

"Finnneeeee. But remember, you can tell me anything. We're best friends now."

Best friends? I guess so.

Moving to Sydney alone wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.
