Luke's P.O.V. -

I slept on the couch downstairs last night cause I couldn't let her see me.

It's now 9:30 in the morning, and everyone/everything is in their positions.

I heard her walking down the stairs. I texted Ashton and heard the doorbell ring, just like it was supposed to.

Well, here goes nothing. Let's hope it all works out.

Rose's P.O.V. -

When I woke up, I turned to my side, hoping I'd see Luke's tired face still sleeping.

But he wasn't there. I was hoping he slept over, like last time. Oh well.

I didn't bother getting ready because I wasn't going anywhere just yet, but I still looked at myself in the mirror.

I had no makeup on, my hair was half wavy from being in a loose braid all night, and I was in my comfy pink sweatpants and a pajama shirt.

I started walking down the stairs when I heard the doorbell ring. That's weird. I wasn't expecting any visitors at 9:30 a.m. Good thing I brushed my hair.

When I opened the door, there was nobody there.

But something else caught my eye.

Yellow tulips with a little note stuck in between two of them. Who'd know that those were my favorite flowers? I've never told anyone that.

I picked up the flowers and opened the piece of paper. It read "turn around".

Now, my stairs are facing the front door, so I didn't see anything else when I was walking down, so turning around would be a huge surprise.

When I did, I definitely was surprised.

There was a long trail of rose petals leading to a yet-unseen destination.

I get it, cause my name is Rose. Cliche, but still so cute.

I followed the trail of petals and found of that they led me right up to the door to my back yard.

I honestly didn't know what to expect, so when I opened the door, I couldn't think.

Hundreds, maybe even thousands of different types of flower petals laying on the floor spelled out 'Be My Girlfriend?'. And laying right next to them in the grass was Delilah dressed as a sunflower.

I hadn't even noticed she was missing this morning.

And to finish off the perfect picture, Luke was standing there smiling a bit hesitantly with his guitar in his arms.
