Chapter 5:

Rose's P.O.V. -

Just like yesterday, I woke up to "Heroes" playing on my phone.

I hopped out of bed and got ready for the day.

And then I remembered my plans for after school today, so I changed my look a bit.

Same makeup as yesterday, except a bit of ruby red lipstick. But not too much, to the point where it's just weird.

As for my outfit, I put on black skinny jeans, my 'Green Day - American Idiot' shirt, and my black leather boots to top it off.

My hair was straightened to perfection, and it reached just below my back.

Once again, I looked in the mirror, and then walked for the bus.

I boarded the bus and sat next to Ashton. I decided not to tell him that I was going to his band practice. I'll surprise him. Hopefully Luke didn't tell him already.

We just talked about what we were doing after school, so I told him about my plans to go to Starbucks with Luke.

"AWWW!" he yelled, once again too loud. "YOU GUYS ARE SOOOOO CUTE!"

What does he mean cute? We're just 2 friends going out to Starbucks together. It's nothing big.

The school day went the same as yesterday, except in math I sat next to Luke.

We were talking and laughing the whole time. It was so much fun. I'm so happy he's in my class.

When school ended and Ashton was getting off the bus, he exited while yelling, "BYE ROSE! HAVE FUN WITH LUKEY POO!"

Lukey Poo? I'll have to make sure to remember that.

The bus dropped me home and I quickly fixed up my appearance before heading out the door. But once again, not without Delilah.

I grabbed my skate board, and we headed to the local Starbucks. It's about 10 minutes away skating-wise. I was texting Luke and Abigail the whole time.

I was telling Abigail about my plans with Luke, and she said, "aww you guys would be so cute! Ruke Temmings forever! <3"

Ruke Temmings? Let's ignore that.

Why does everyone keep saying we're cute together? We just met! I can't like him already. That's just weird.

I shut off my phone and continued the last block of the trek to Starbucks.
