Luke's P.O.V. -

Since that day, Rose and I have been together - no doubts, no interruptions, no problems. Everything was absolutely perfect.

We moved into a small house in California together after about 2 years, and we were so happy together.

It'd been over 7 years since I met Rosie; almost 7 years since we started dating for the very first time.

I woke up that Christmas morning knowing it would be the best day of both of our lives - at least, I hoped so.

"Rosie. Psssttttt, Ro. Wake up - it's Christmas morning!" I said shaking her by the shoulders.

"REALLY?!" She shouted excitedly as she bolted up as quickly as she could.

"YES! LETS GO OPEN PRESENTS!" We ran down the stairs like little kids, even though we were both 23 years old.

After many rounds of presents, Rosie ended up with some new clothes, a new perfume, some makeup, and 3 of her favorite movies, and I ended up with shirts, Vans, a gift card for Starbucks, and my personal favorite, a new electric guitar.

"Thank you for all the amazing presents, babe. I love you." She said quietly as she kissed my cheek.

"I love you too." I said back. "But I'm not done with presents. There's still one thing left."

Thanks to the sunny weather in southern Cali, my plan could be worked out perfectly.

"Come with me!" I yelled, grabbing her wrist and dragging her towards the back yard. The flower petals were in sight, and I was ready. Well, ready as I'd ever be.

"Luke, why are we goin- oh my god." She gasped, putting two hands up to cover her mouth.

Just as the first time I asked her out, thousands of flower petals were arranged across the backyard spelling out "Will you marry me?".

"So, what do you say?" I knelt down and pulled out a ring. "Rose, I love you to the moon and back. Will you please marry me?" A single tear dripped down her face as she whispered, "Of course." I jumped up and grabbed her, spinning her around as our lips met. "I want you forever, forever and always; through the good and the bad and the ugly. We'll grow old together, forever and always."

"I'm so happy I met you."

Rosie's P.O.V. -

Luke and I had almost been finished planning the wedding - it was in less than two months.

One day in August, we were sitting in the house just watching TV, when he suddenly fell to the floor. I thought maybe it was just the heat and he was dehydrated. I called 911 and the paramedics rushed him to the hospital.
