4. Secrets and disappointments

Samuels P.O.V

I was doing my football practice, suddenly my eye fell on a girl. She was having fair skin and ocean blue eyes with her long golden hair falling towards her knees. She was slowly walking towards me.

"Es, what you doing here", I said with a big smile on my face. She looked pretty. I wondered if she had to tell something that would surprise me, but.....

"Sam, where the hell was you, and why the hell are you hiding from me? I don't want to talk anymore".

She's very angry with me since I have been hiding from her...well, I hope that I don't spit everything out.

"Wha-what are you saying Es, why would I hi-hide from you". I was shivering to hide the truth. "Okay Es see you later, I'm doing my football practice right now, take care", I said while hiding my pity face.

"Of course, football is everything to you, right? That day Daniel was right, you have forgotten your friends. I was a stupid who took your side because of friendship. Does football matter more than me?", she said angrily.

I just turned around to hide my face from her and moved on without saying anything.

"Sam, listen. Where are you going now, Sam", she kept shouting but I didn't react as if I ignored it. I was feeling bad but I had no other option.

Es must be very angry with me and she would be sad moreover... whatever it was I should have not reacted like that but I had no other option but to distract Es so that I can do my work.

"Captain come on, we shall be doing practice", one of my teammates shouted from behind.

"I have some work to do mate, see you tomorrow", I shouted.

I took my keys and ran towards my car. During the whole journey, I kept thinking about Estella. I never thought that one day I will have to do all this but no one can change destiny after all. Finally reached my destination.

"Hey guys, have you done what I asked you to", I said to Daniel and Emily...Amelda did not know anything about that because she could tell Es everything, and I know that Es is very good at finding out the truth.

"Yeah Sam, still working on the same thing", Emily said.

"Alright, let's move on Daniel I have some work with you", I said in a serious tone.

"Okay then, I will join you later", Emily said while leaving.

I and Daniel went to look for Kelly, she's an amazing singer and joined our school a few months ago. She is very pretty as well as very efficient. I remember it was her first day at school when I saw her. She was wearing a cute pastel dress and her wavy brown hair was tied up in a ponytail. When she was new in the school, the seniors made her sing and I kind of got attracted to her voice. After then I saw her daily in school and day by day I got to know about her kind and helpful nature. Then I decided to know her more and wanted to make friends with her but I never dared to talk to her. So today I have decided to meet her and finally get to know more about her. We were on our way when we were caught by Es.

Oh noooo, why does this happen to me every time I want that Es should not see me? Currently, I was busy thinking about making new friends when I'm interrupted by Estella. Huh! Now she is gonna start all the drama. At least Kelly has a lot more patience than her.

I had to stop the car otherwise I would have to pay for not stopping the car for her.

"Hey, Es how are you here?", I said while moving out of my car.

"Could I just ask you the same thing? what are you doing here?...let me tell you that you are outside my home", she replied giving an annoying look.

"Oh is it your...", before I could complete my sentence she cut me off,

"Yes my home, anything else you want to know about me", she said while giving a fake smile.

"Actually...."

"What, yes I know how you are going to say that you have some work and you need to go, right?", she said while turning around.

"No....., actually yes", I said in a low voice. I was at a loss for words because I had no idea about what to tell her. I was completely occupied with my thoughts.

I was hoping Daniel to handle the situation but he didn't even speak a word. I know it's between the two of us but he knows everything why am I doing so he could have said anything.

"Okay, you go and do your work, I will not disturb you", Es said with a smile.

I know what was going on in her mind...and the smile she gave was fake. I don't like to make her sad but I had no other option. She is very angry with me at the moment but I can't do anything about it. If she wants to, she can be angry with me and I won't protest.

"Leave it, Sam, we have a lot of work to do, let's move on", Daniel said while pulling my hand towards my car.

Esella's POV:

Samuel left without saying a word properly. I'm very much angry with him, I want to kill him right now. I don't know why is he doing all this. I have to clear all this before anything else happens. And I also have to talk to him about my diary. I quickly went inside my house and rushed towards my room. I did not eat anything for the whole day and cried all day in my room. I was hurt not because Sam was rude but because he was acting first time so strange in front of me and he was hiding something from me. Everything was roaming on my mind when I did not realize it when I fall asleep.
