23. A fresh start

Samuel's P.O.V

Finally, a month passed happily and today is the happiest day in both of our lives, our wedding. Both Es and I were the happiest. We have seen a long distance in these three years but not now.

Maybe we never thought about it but no doubt we do make the best match.

God has made our friendship so rare that he never wants us to separate. See how we'll always be together. I don't believe in a parallel universe n all but I believe in God. He can plan anything. And I'm happy that by whatever means but we two got together.

"Get ready fast Sam everyone's waiting", mom shouted while knocking on the door.

"He'll be right there Daisy, is Estella done?", Daniel shouted from here.

"Yes Daniel, she's done, and come fast".

"Dae do it fast, we don't have to be late for my wedding mate", I said.

"It's almost done Sam, let me just give a final touch by this fresh rose".

Everyone was trying that I should look the best in the crowd, of course, one of the grooms. They're trying to make me look better than Jerome, hah!.. Meanwhile, Jerome and the brides were also getting ready. They were almost ready and waiting for me.

"Okay done, let's go, Sam".

We went towards the stage and Jerome also came. Brides had to wait until the priest calls them. Soon the marriage rings were also bought and everyone was waiting for the ceremony.

Today I would tell everything to the woman of my life. I'd let her know her importance in my life. I don't know what am I feeling but I know that whatever it is, is a very beautiful feeling and I can see the dream coming true that Estella and I be together forever and our friendship lasts forever.

"Please call the brides", the priest said from behind.

Soon brides were here. I could see Estella coming my way. She was looking so beautiful today. I can't describe it in words. She was wearing a white pretty gown. The gown might not be pretty but it looked, as Estella indeed was beautiful from the day she was born. Her golden hair was tied in a bun and her ocean-blue eyes were sparkling like pearls.

"Congratulations Sam, our friendship would never end now", she said while standing beside me.

"Congratulations to you too Es, don't say our friendship would never end now, it never ended. It was forever, it is and it will be forever and ever".

The priest began the ceremony and first it was Jerome's and Sophie's turn,

"MR Jerome Johns and Miss Sophie Carter, are you both willing to marry each other?"

"yes", they said and exchanged the rings. we were so lost in the movement when Nancy said,

"It's your turn guys, Samuel, Estella. It's your turn".

All of a sudden I came out of my imagination and we went towards the priest.

"Samuel Williams, are you willing to make Estella Johns part of your life? Are you willing to marry her?", Priest said.

"Yes, I am", I replied.

"Estella Johns are you willing to marry Samuel Williams?".

"I am".

We exchanged our rings and everyone burst into a round of applause.

"Congratulations, now Samuel Williams, Estella johns and Jerome Johns, Sophie Carter are married with all of the rights. Everyone was very happy and congratulated each other.

"Ladies and gentlemen, attention please I want to say something", I said while holding Estella's hand.

"My lady you're the only friend, the only girl, and the only love of my life, who always supported me, cared for me, and made herself worth it. You're worth it. You're lucky for me from the very beginning. Right after the day we met in childhood, everyone knew that we were perfect for each other. You are so talented, girl. And we didn't want you to be just a normal girl who has to get married one day and that's it, rather everyone wanted you to be more passionate towards your dreams because you deserved it as you had a talent in you. Then I made up my mind to make you fulfill your dreams first and then I did all for you. I wanted you to realize the importance of chasing one's dreams. Now you have achieved your goal and now I'm sure you would be happier in your life. And today I also want to confess that I read your diary that day. I'm sorry for that but if I would have not read that, then you'd have not been in this position ever"

"I thank you for reading my diary that day Sam. You proved the fact that you love me and care about me and my dreams"

"Do you want to spend your achieved beautiful life with me?", I said.

She was so lost in the words then suddenly she said in a soft voice, "I do". The words weren't just the words but the whole life ahead.
