WHEN THE END BECAME HER ONSET...

THE EPILOGUE:

After 4 years…..

“I’m leaving mommy”, my 3-year-old daughter Adaline shouted while she was leaving for school.

“By dear, Sam I have kept both of your lunch boxes on the table don’t forget to take that and drive Addie to school on time”, I shouted from here.

I’m living a beautiful life here with Sam and our sweet daughter Adaline. Our dreams are fulfilled and I have started my career in Paris only. Sam has also started a big football academy. He could not pursue his dream as a footballer and everyone knows the reason is me but he’s happy with running his football academy and he’s also running his dad’s business side by side. We’re also looking forward to Addie’s dreams. We’ll make her study more and let her pursue her dreams.

Mom and dad are also happy with Jerome and his family. Jerome also has a son, Eric. Jerome is also running dad’s business and Sophie is running a small bakery where she bakes her cakes and stuff. Eric and Addie both go to the same school and both the cousins are best friends too.

Daisy and David live in their old house, they wanted us to be free with our own family so they didn’t come to our new house.

Well, today is a great reunion of our school friends. I didn’t have to take Addie with me but she insisted in the morning so I agreed.

 I need to do the arrangements now and I also have to pick gifts for everyone from the market so I informed Sam to come early from the office today. Until then I did other household stuff.

“Momma we’re back”, Addie said while giving me a tight hug.

“Yes my sweetheart, get ready fast we have to go shopping.

We all were ready and we went shopping. We bought gifts for all our friends and wrapped those in a beautiful cover that said friends forever.

“Es, Addie come fast, I’m waiting”, Sam shouted from outside.

“Coming Sam, please help me with the gifts”.

We got inside the car. The whole journey was full of excitement.  Finally, we reached the destination and a beautiful tall girl welcomed us.

“Rachel…you?”, I said in a shocked tone.

“Yes, Estella. Surprised to see me?”.

“Es don’t be shocked, she also helped you. It was part of the plan she did that day”, Sam said.

“Oh so nice of you”, I said while hugging her.

We stepped in and met everyone. Amelda is doing fashion designing and is yet to get married. Daniel and Emily have got married and they both are doing well jobs in Paris only. Rachel is doing business. She was the only girl I hated most school. But now we’re good friends as she was just helping me. Maybe she was arrogant but was a good soul inside.

“See Momma I have made two new friends”, Addie said.

“Wow Addie, who are they?”.

“She’s my daughter rose and Daniel's son Nick. And she might be your daughter right?”, Emily said with a smile.

“Oh, nice to meet you, kids. Yeah, she’s our daughter Adaline.

“Adaline, say hi to Emily”, I said.

“Hi Emily, I’m Adaline”, she said with her cute looks.

“Hi baby, you’re so sweet as your parents”.

“So is your daughter and Daniel's son. Addie, go and plays with your new friends”, Sam said.

Emily’s husband had not come but we met Daniel's wife. She’s nice and we again played our all-time game, truth ‘or dare. Everyone seemed to be so happy to meet once again and we distributed all the gifts to everyone. We danced, played and enjoyed the party.

 Finally, it was time to leave and we said goodbye to everyone. Sam was driving when Addie said,

“Dadda let’s go on a long drive please”.

Addie was so happy and she soon slept down on my lap. Such a beautiful time we had together. My happy family is just Sam, Addie, and me.
