11. The interview

3 years later.....

It has been 3 years since I have been a great singer in the USA. I have sung more than 50 songs till now. I'm proud of myself for taking such a decision and I'm happy about my achievements. Though I never forgot what Samuel did to me and I would never forgive him for that. Anyways let's forget the past and I'm happy with my new life. I live here in San Francisco with Kelly. We both sing together and have reached trillions of fans. And what a great bonding we have, Estella Johns and Kelly Williams... amazing. Today I have an interview at the great music event and then I have a live performance. While Kelly is busy with another event.

"What're you thinking Es, anything serious", Kelly said while entering my room.

"No, nothing serious Kel, just thinking about these three years, how these went, and how we achieved our goal", I said with a slight smile on my face.

"Hmm, you're right, but your expressions say that you're also thinking about that day Samuel did all that and you're missing your family too, right??".

"Maybe your right, I do miss my family and you know what, Jerome is finally getting married next month", I said while ignoring Samuel's talk.

"Yes, Nancy has told me about that".

"Oh, that means mom would have also told you to convince me to go there".

"Yes, she has told me but you should go Es, after all, it's your brother's marriage".

"No Kel, I won't go there, I will never go to Paris again and I never want to face Sam again", I said in an indignant tone.

"Es, you should not say anything like that, your parents are in Paris how could you say that you won't return".

"Leave this topic key, let's go we r getting late for our performances and I also have an interview before that", I said while taking up my clothes.

"Hey, I forgot to tell you, do you know, there is an article in today's newspaper about us. Have a look",

"Let me read it,

"Two shining stars from the city of Paris, have achieved a lot in just three years. These two girls, Estella Johns, and Kelly Williams belong to a small city in Paris. While they were in school they participated in a great event of singing where they got an opportunity to sing for an album in the US. It got very much famous just in a day. Then they were offered to continue music in the US as their career and here they go. They have sung more than 50 songs which is a great achievement in 3 years. And the most famous song is written by Estella Johns, "I have been replaced". Today we are going to interview her live on national tv. Do watch".

"Oh my god, I'm so happy".

"yes, me too. Es, we should leave now"

"yes".

We got ready as fast as we could and left. I went for the interview while Kelly went for her performance. I reached the auditorium. I had my live interview there and after that, I had my performance. Many people were seated before me. But I was confident enough as now it's been 3 years I'm doing the same thing.

The Interview:

"Hello Miss Estella Johns, how are you?"

"I'm pretty good. And I'm feeling over the moon being here in such a great event"

"That's great. Please tell the audience about yourself and how you started your journey in music"

"Hello everyone. As you must be knowing my name, "Estella Johns". So my journey started when I was in school. A music event had been organized in our school in which I and my companion, Kelly Williams also participated. So the scheme was that whosoever will win, they shall be given a chance to sing for an album in the US"

"Wow who was such a company that gave such a great opportunity for students?"

"The company's name is "The Euphoria" of course from where I record my albums. I don't know why they decided to organize such an event in our school. They haven't mentioned that because of the privacy policy. But it was a great opportunity where Kelly and I both were the winners. then we Came to the US and sang for the album. As you all know it became very famous and Euphoria offered us to continue singing here and here we go.

"wow it's a very nice and motivational story for others, your voice is awesome but I'm sure you must have done a lot of hard work to get here"

" of course, every talent needs hard work with consistency then only you can get here"

"Do you want to give a final message to people?"

"Yes, id like to tell everyone that don't lose hope and don't waste your talent if you have any. I wanted to get settled and I hadn't realized my talent until then. So I request everyone to participate in every opportunity and recognize your talent and pursue it. I realize now how important is it to chase one's dreams, thankyou"

"Thanks, Miss, we hope you have a bright future ahead".

Interview ends.

After the interview, I headed toward the stage for my live performance.

"so guys I'm going to sing my favorite and famous song, "I have been replaced", somewhere I sang this song hoping that Sam will see it because it's a live event.

It's been three years since I saw you

And it's hard for me to accept the fact

When we were just kids we made a pact

That we'd always have each other's backs

But now I think I have been replaced

When needed space, we used to say, it's all done

It was also a phase

When I had been replaced....

I kept on singing while tears were rolling down my face. I was missing sam so much but I was helpless. Everyone else was weeping in the haul and when I finished I heard a big round of applause and appreciation. After the event, I directly went home.

"Estella you were so amazing today, you made everyone cry", Kelly said while entering.

"Thanks, Kel. How was your performance?"

"It was great"

"great. I'm very tired I'm going to sleep okay?", I replied.

"Okay Es you go and take some rest".
