8. Great achievements

It was the next day. Yesterday we were very tired after we had lunch, we came back and took a rest for the whole day. Today Kelly and I were going to explore New York. I changed into casual jeans and a t-shirt. I took my purse and wallet and water bottle with me. And then Kelly and I left.

"it is pretty hot here", Kelly said while drinking some water.

"For sure, it is".

We decided to travel by foot because then only we could explore the place properly. We did not know anyone or any place here so we took a public guide with us on the way. He was a nice person he took us to many beautiful places. We brought some cold drinks and ice cream on the way and headed towards a garden called "Madison Square Garden".

It was very beautiful there we saw an amusement park. We went there and enjoyed ourselves a lot. There we rode a roller coaster. And many more swings that were made for adults.

"shall we leave now, it's getting late and tomorrow is our performance", Kelly said.

"oh, yes we need to prepare, let's leave", Kelly was very much dedicated to her work. It was I who was just enjoying. We paid the guide and went home.

I took my new dress out of my bag which I had specially bought for the performance day.

"Kelly, have a look, how is this dress for tomorrow?'.

"It's very pretty Estella".

It was a black dress that ended just below my knees. It had a gold-plated belt at the waist and a broach at the top. It was gorgeous and I decided to pair it up with golden heals and a thin chain that my mom gifted me.

"Kelly, what do you have to wear tomorrow?", I asked.

"have a look at this outfit", she replied.

Her outfit was two piece. It had a golden shiny top that ended at her waist and straight-leg black pants.

"it is beautiful and the colors also match my outfit. We will nail it tomorrow"

"yes, now let's get to sleep, we have to wake up early", she said while hanging her dress in the small closet that our room had.

The next day:

We woke up at 6 am. We freshened up and quickly changed into our outfits for the day. I didn't know how to do makeup, it was my first time. Kelly helped me do the makeup and we finally got ready and left.

It was a huge auditorium. Everyone was already here we were minutes away from our performance. We were given some time to get ready.

"I'm very nervous Kelly", I said.

"so am I but don't worry everything will be okay", she said while holding my hand.

"yes, let's go".

We performed very well with all of the energy we had. Everyone was proud of us. Some people also gave gifts to us. We were gifted 2 lakhs rupees check by the music company and also by this conducting this event they got very famous. The media arrived in no time. We were asked many questions about how we got here. We could not answer all and somehow managed to escape from them. After that, we became very famous for our songs and they offered us to sing more songs and keep this as our profession. But I was not that into it and all of my friends and Samuel were in Paris at my home but Kelly looked interested so they gave us time to think and after that, we went back to the hotel as we had our flight at 8 pm.

"Kelly, I think you should continue to sing for their album", I said.

"But this performance went awesome only when you were also with me Estella. How about you also join me".

"but I don't want to, I never wanted to. Let me tell you the truth that I did all this because of Samuel and I wanted to defeat you at first and prove myself, I'm sorry for that but let me tell you that I treat you like a true friend of mine now. It was all because of Sam", I tear escaped my eye.

"hey don't cry Es. I know everything. I felt it from the very beginning but let me tell you that I haven't replaced you in Samuel's life. We then went home and everyone welcomed us with enthusiasm. Kelly's parents had also arrived. And the media was already waiting for us. We didn't only get famous in the US or Paris but in the whole world.
