22. Awaited confessions

Estella's P.O.V

"Es, I'm sorry for everything I did and I was afraid of meeting you after all this, that's why I'm behaving like that", Samuel said.

"He knows that I still don't know the truth. Oh Samuel I'm so sorry but before telling you the truth let you complete".

"I don't know what but I think the time is here to tell you the actual truth. I didn't want to but it's going worse between us so I don't want to spoil it anymore. Es, I was never rude to you. My intention was not to hurt your feelings rather all I did was for you. I did all this because I knew that you're sensitive towards family and friendship so you'll never leave us here. To make you understand I had to break your heart. But now I'm regretting it...not regretting because it's good for you, but all that spoiled our friendship. I could have found any other way. I love you the most and I want to see you at the highest place", Samuel said while he burst into tears.

A huge tear escaped my eye. I was wondering how hurt he could have been in these three years and what was I thinking and doing.

"I'm sorry Samuel, I already know everything", I said while I was crying very hard."And I love you more and more. You are my bestie from the very beginning, and will always be"

"What? How do you know everything? and why are you crying Estella what happened?", Samuel asked while brushing off my tears.

"Yes, I know everything Sam, I'm sorry for what I did to you. I'm not a good friend", I said while hugging him.

"It's okay Es calm down and tell me everything", he replied while hugging me back.

I told him everything about the parallel universe. I told him what events happened to me and how guilty was I feeling after knowing the whole truth.

"It's hard to believe all this but I trust you because then how would you know the truth? Or did anyone tell you Es and now you're making your own story?", Samuel said in an indignant tone.

"Don't you trust me, Sam? I swear I'm not lying. And who do you think would tell me, I was not in Paris and I had my accident right after I came here. And you people thought that I was in a coma but I was in a parallel universe and there I got to know the truth", I replied in a serious tone.

"Okay, Es if you're saying then it might be the truth. And I don't care about the story that is how you got the truth rather I'm really happy that everything between us got sorted that I never expected to happen again", Sam said with a slight smile.

"Yes Sam, of course, true relations never end I got to know it truly", I said.

We both talked to each other about the things that we had been longing for three years. Then we went back to our friends and assured them that everything is now fine between us.

"Finally everything's okay between you two. Thank god", Amelda said.

"Yes, Es you could not even wonder how hard these three years went, not only for Sam but for all of us. Did you know how Sam was regretting and unhappy?", Daniel said with signs of sorrow on his face.

"I know right? I'm sorry guys for everything", I said.

"It's okay dude", Amelda replied.

"By the way, where is Kelly guys? I almost forgot about her in all of the Chaos. And did she know the truth?", I asked.

"She's gone to meet a doctor with her mother. And yeah she knew all this", Emily said from behind.

"Ah I see, that's why she was forcing me to return to Paris and always motivated me about the issue. Hope everything's okay with her mother", I was talking when Kelly joined us.

"Everything's okay Es, she had a mild fever nothing serious. And I'm happy that everything's sorted now".

"Oh yes, come let's go inside now, you even didn't have dinner, let you have some", I said while standing up from my chair.

Everyone came inside and I served Kelly food. Soon Sophie, Jerome's finance also joined us,

"hello everyone", she greeted. She is such a nice person. She is very beautiful. She is having grey eyes and dark brown hair. She is very helpful.

"hi Sophie, I have only talked with you on phone but seeing you in person made me feel happier, you're beautiful", I replied.

"Thanks, Estella, so are you. And I'm glad that you recovered and returned home".

" Yes, thanks".

We all elders and juniors sat down in the hall. I also told everyone that everything is now fine between Samuel and me as everyone was curious to know what will happen to us.

"That's very good news sweetheart", my mom said with a great smile.

"Yeah, because of my accident Jerome's wedding got postponed, I'm sorry about that", I said.

"Nothing has happened because of you Estella, it was written in fate, and don't be sorry about that. What happens, happens for the good", Sophie said while putting her hand on mine.

"Hope so", I said while smiling at her.

"You'll know it sweetie", my dad shouted from the stage,

"Guys I want to make an announcement. I think everything is sorted in the family so I think it's the right time to step forward. I want to say that next month two weddings are going to happen".

"Two weddings? of whom, when?", everyone was whispering and even I was curious to know which two weddings were going to happen. Because I knew that one was Jerome's but what about another?

"Two weddings?", I asked.

"Yes, my darling two weddings. One is Jerome's and Sophie's and the other one is any guesses..... Estella's and... Samuels's wedding. Give a big round of applause", my dad said.

Everyone burst into rounds of applause but I was shocked to listen. I was looking towards Sam and so was he. We couldn't make it out that what happened so suddenly.

"Yes as everything's fine between you two, we've decided to take a step forward with your friendship. I guess no one would be the best match than you two", David said.

"Please come on the stage people", my mom said while taking my hand.

"Do you people agree with the decision?", Daisy asked.

We both were confused about what to do now but inside we loved each other the most and were very happy.

"Ye-yeah!", I said in a low volume and so did Sam.

"Congratulations, meet you, people, again next month", dad said.

We were surprised but happy at the same time. After all what could have been better than marrying my bestie? I glanced a smile towards Sam and so did he. Everything was going to be alright now in my life and I was so happy.
