WHEN THE END BECAME HER ONSET...

20. Returning home

There is noise all around, and many people are looking at me with great happiness on their faces....

"Estella, you are awake my sweetheart", dad said with tears of happiness in his eyes.

"Dad, mom, how are you here, and where is granny?", I asked in a confused state when mom replied,

"Sweetie, you are in the hospital and you've been in a coma since you had an accident now. And don't you remember that your granny has left this world? You are talking about whom?"

" What? no way. But how?", I shouted in a shocked voice.

Now I was able to get the entire situation...I had already got all the answers to my questions. I'm back to my world? As granny had said that when I'll get to know the truth, I'd be back to my world and that's what's happening. It could have been the only thing that's everything to do with Sam and me.

"What happened Es?", mom asked while I was wondering all this.

"Na. Nothing mom, I'm just not in a good state and I want to go home", I replied in a low voice.

"Yeah, they'll discharge you in some time. Don't worry, then we'll go home", dad said while patting my head.

Finally, I got discharged and we went to our home in Paris. When we reached, I kept mentioning Sam.

"Where is Sam?. Mom I want to meet him right now...I can't wait anymore, where is Samuel?".

"Es, what has happened to you? didn't you say that you want to go home and take some rest and now suddenly you are asking for Samuel", dad said.

"Es, take some rest first. You have just now recovered. We are planning a party for your recovery and you'll meet your all friends there right?", mom said.

I agreed and went into my room. I was so restless and curious to meet Sam after 3 years. I don't know when I'll see him, how would I react. After all, it's my entire fault. Soon mom, dad, and Jerome entered my room,

"Better, what happened to your wedding brother?", I asked with a curious look.

"Well, it was canceled, as you had an accident then how could we arrange it without you? and then soon Kelly left for the US", mom replied.

"Oh okay, I'm going to rest now", I said.

They all left my room and I laid back on the bed. I kept thinking about Sam.

"I have done a big mistake in my life. I feel so ashamed for leaving my childhood best friend just because I couldn't understand that whatever he had done was for me. I don't dare to face Sam", I was just saying all this to myself when someone knocked on the door.

"Estella, may we come in?", some girl asked.

"Yes you can", I replied.

I saw a cute girl wearing a pale blue dress. I couldn't recognize her at the moment but soon I realized it was Amelda, my bestie. There were some other people too and of course, they were Emily and Daniel.

"Es, how have you been?", Amelda said while giving me a very tight hug.

"I am fine Amel", I could barely talk as I had never called my friends in these three years. But soon I got comfortable with them again and I felt so much better than before.

"Sam didn't come?", I said with slight tears in my eyes.

"Es, as you know...That...The day you had a fi-fight, he was not able to face you again", Daniel said in a low tone.

"Es, are you crying?", Emily asked.

A huge tear escaped my eyes and I started crying.

"I'm sorry guys, I never dared to call anyone of you in these three years. I stopped talking with you people to forget Paris and memories. I have done a big mistake in my life".

"No, not at all Es, we all can understand that you were hurt, we're not angry with you and we never were", Amel said while hugging me.

"Guys I know that you people are so nice but I also know about Samuel. I know everything that is why he did all this", I said.

"You know?...how?. I mean who told you?", Daniel asked with a shocked look.

"You guys are so nice that even knowing that Samuel didn't do anything wrong, you still supported me. After all, Sam is your friend also, you people must have been suffering. But let me tell you something secret, I know you might not believe it but I can tell you how did I get to know", I said while wiping my tears.

"It's okay Es, you continue", Amelda said.

I told them the entire story about the parallel universe how have I been there and how guilty I have inside me right now. About every mistake I did, Not remembering my friends, not coming home, cursing Samuel, and whatnot. I also told them about my journey in the US.

"Wow, what a mystery you had Estella, but are you sure it s true? Because you were in a coma", Emily asked with a confused look.

"I know you people won't believe this. Even I didn't believe all this is the beginning. But it's okay, believing this is not important but knowing the truth is important".

"yes, you are right. We still believe you", Amelda replied.

"Es, you know how much Sam is regretting that day. He just says that all he had done for you but doing this entire he lost his world, he lost your friendship", Daniel said with great regret on his face.

"It's okay Dae, don't panic her more. Let's tell Kelly about all this, she's coming tonight for tomorrow's party. Let's not tell Samuel anything about all this and let Estella herself solve the problem", Amel said.

"Yeah, you're right, let Estella handle the situation now", Emily replied.

"Okay, thank you very much guys for supporting me in every aspect of my life. And still sorry for everything. Let's meet tomorrow at the party", I said with relief.

"And don't be nervous or scared Es, I know you very well, you're scared to meet Sam", Amelda said.

"No... actually yes. But I'll manage, you gave me much more confidence. See you tomorrow", I said while they were leaving.

I'm kind of scared as Amel said, she knows me very well. Let's hope for the best tomorrow. I hope I dare to meet sam again after a long gap of three years. I miss him so much and I want him here right now damn badly.
