Malcolm's POV
I walked outside the building I was in after I finished my class and was about to head back to the dorm.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I took it out. It was just the groupchat and Han accidentally started a groupcall before he apologized at the mistake. I felt someone following me so I turned around to face the person.
"Excuse me" The quiet girl called and stopped infront of me.
"What?" I asked as she handed me some bills.
"Here" She said and I took it from her hand before putting it in my pockets.
I chuckled and shook her hand so no one would notice what she gave me. I came close to her side and looked down on the floor.
"You shouldn't be paying me out in the open, no matter how urgent it is" I said before going back to the spot I was standing on.
"Okay, 5,000 won. What do you need?" I asked and she looked at me confused.
"Uh...you dropped it earlier" She said and I checked my pocket and it wasn't there.
"Oh, uh...Thank you" I smiled at her and she gave me a small smile.
"Uh...who are you again? You're Chaewon and Chaeyeon's new roommate, right? You're the one that moved in the day before, right?" I asked and she nodded.
"Y-Yes, I'm Kim Minju. Nice to meet you" She smiled shyly.
"Welcome here. I'm Malcolm and thank you again" I smiled before walking away.
"Uh...excuse me" Minju called and I looked at her again.
"What is it? Is there more?" I asked.
"You're the RA here, right?" She asked and pointed at the dorm.
"Yeah" I nodded.
"Can I switch rooms?" She asked and I looked at her confused.
"Your room? Why? Do you not like your roommate?" I asked.
"I mean, Chaeyeon is a bit noisy isn't she?" I asked.
"That's true, but more because I want a single room" She explained.
"A single room?" I asked.
"Y-Yes" She nodded.
"I-I'm a bit uncomfortable sharing with others" She added and I sighed silently.
Does she think this is some kind of hotel?
"Uh, listen...There aren't any single rooms here and we require you to live in a dorm to force you to interact and make friends with others" I explained.
"People much more sensitive and difficult than you live here...sorry, but you're not special" I finished and she frowned.
"But...just in case-" She started.
"Sorry, but I'm so busy. Bye" I cut her off and walked away.
Minju's POV
I looked at him leave and wondered why he was mean.
What's his problem?
Malcolm's POV
I went in the dorm building and heard Jeongin arguing with Han and Changbin again.
"Yah! Either stop ordering me around or stop complaining" Jeongin complianed.
"The youngest should run errands. That's how it works" Changbin remarked.
"The youngest? Is it a crime to be young?" Jeongin asked.
"You guys exaggerate age and the heirarchy" Jeongin said.
