A week later
Minju's POV
I woke up due to my alarm clock and I turned it off before checking to see if Malcolm messaged me.
I frowned as I didn't receive any from last night. I messaged him but and he didn't reply nor did he see it.
I prepared my stuff and went to my lectures and didn't find him there.
Did he drink last night?
I was worried as he never missed a class before and wondered if it was because of him going out with the prom committee.
After my class ended, I joined the others and noticed that he still wasn't there.
"Hey, Minju" Chaeyeon smiled as I sat with them and I looked at them in confusion.
"Have you guys seen Malcolm?" I asked which made them give me a confused face.
"What? We thought he was with you-"
"Hey, guys" Hyunjin smiled as him and Jeongin joined us.
"Hyunjin, have you seen Malcolm?" I asked, starting to get worried.
"No? I didn't see him come home last night" He shook his head.
"What?" I asked with a distraught face.
"Why? What happened?" Chaewon asked.
"Malcolm isn't with me and Hyunjin said he didn't come home last night" I replied before pulling out my phone and there was still no reply.
"Did you message him?" Changbin asked as he pulled out his phone and I shook my head.
"Why? Where was he last night?" Jeongin asked.
"He was with the prom committee because they celebrated after finishing the plans for prom" I replied.
"Maybe, we can ask someone from there?" Hyunjin suggested and I nodded.
As if it was meant to be, Jeno passed by us so we called him.
"Oh? What is it?" He asked.
"Have you seen Malcolm?" We asked and he looked at us with a confused face before shaking his head.
"The last time I saw him was last night" He replied.
"Did he drink a lot or anything?" Hyunjin asked.
"He drank a few but he was tipsy before he left" Jeno replied.
"Do you know where he went?" I asked in calm tone to hide how worried I am right now.
"No, he said he was going to go to his cousin's place or something" He said as he tried to recollect what happened last night.
"We'll go to his cousin. We know where he lives since Malcolm introduced us to him" Hyunjin said.
"What about me?" I asked and they all looked at each other.
"We'll go and call the other guys. We'll update you, don't worry" Hyunjin reassured and I couldn't do anything but nod.
Hyunjin's POV
I texted Chan as he was the one with the car. I told him what happened and he dropped everything he was doing immediately and drove to pick us up before heading towards Malcolm's house.
"Minhyun!" We called out as we knocked on his gate.
It opened not long after and it revealed his cousin.
"Oh? You guys. Are you with Malcolm?" He asked and we all looked at each other with worry as this was getting more serious.
"N-No, we thought he was here with you" I replied.
"He came here last night and borrowed my car. I thought he was going to give it back today" He replied and I sighed stressfully.
"Why? Did something happen to him?" His cousin asked in concern as he noticed the tension of the atmosphere.
"We're afraid he's missing. He didn't come home last night and he didn't go to any of his classes today" Chan replied.
"Oh, no. Please, update me too. I'll see what I can to help" Minhyun said and we nodded.
I pulled out my phone and texted Minju on our latest finding.
His cousin said Malcolm borrowed his car but doesn't know where he went:(Hyunjin)
(Minju): Really? Please find him...
"Guys...I got a text" Chan said as we all looked at him before going to his side.
"Oh, no" My eyes widened as we read the text.
Minju's POV
I felt a buzz from my pocket and I took out my phone before opening it. I felt my heart drop as I read Hyunjin's text.
(Hyunjin): Minju...Malcolm's dad told Chan that he's in the hospital and just woke up.
(Hyunjin): Han will be coming to pick you up.
I felt myself drop on my knees as I read it. My breathing became uneven as my heart started beating faster.
Please, tell me this is just a nightmare
