Malcolm's POV
"I can't afford to look ugly tomorrow" Han sighed which made us groan.
We were currently eating our dinner at the usual table we sat at.
"You're not even the one auditioning. Why do you care?" Changbin snarked.
"Who knows? I might meet some idols just hanging out" Han replied.
"You're so lucky, hyung. Can I go with you?" Jeongin asked.
"Yah! I barely got Chaeyeon to agree to take me. I had to eat my pride and feed her ego. It almost made me throw up" Han said as he scrunch his nose.
"Still, how else would I ever see the inside of a talent agency?" Han finished.
"Tell me. Is it true that Chaeyeon was scouted by an agency randomly on the street? She lies so much all the time, I don't know what to believe" I said looking at all of them.
"I guess I'll find out tomorrow" Han replied.
"But Chaeyeon-ah, she could be pretty cute, if you're into that sort of thing" Changbin said which made Han scoff and me groan in disgust.
After a while, we left and was heading back to the dorm.
"My face is getting puffy already" Han groaned as he looked at himself in the mirror.
"Why did you wanna eat so late?" He asked as he glared at Changbin.
"Come on. You ate an entire spicy chicken and a whole bowl of ramen" Changbin smirked.
"Hanji, try that "we ate too late" one more time, and I'll sew your mouth shut" I snarled.
Well all turned are heads forward as we saw our friend, Hyunjin, carrying a baby and few bags. We stared at him and at the baby as he walked infront of us.
"Yo...what's that?" I asked in bewilderment.
"I don't know, man" He grumbles.
"Is that a baby?" Changbin asks as he points at the baby.
"Oh, my gosh. Is that baby for real? Is it yours?" Han asked.
"What? No, he isn't. He's my baby brother" Hyunjin replied.
"That's your brother?!" We all asked in unison as the baby cooes.
-Time Skip-
We were on the side of the bed as we did our best to entertain the baby on the bed while we use his toys.
"Your mom really just came and dropped off your baby brother?" Han asked.
"She's taking a trip with her boyfriend and she left you to watch the kid?" Changbin asked.
"Uh, he kinda looks different than you" I said due to the difference they have in eyes.
"All six of us, we have different moms" Hyunjin said which made Changbin surprised.
"What?! Seriously?!" They both asked in unison.
"My dad never wants to get married. He doesn't even want to settle down" Hyunjin explains.
"Wow" Changbin blurted.
"I can respect that" Changbin said.
"He's my role model!" Han said in an eager tone with thumbs up.
"I'm not really in the mood to explain my father's complicated love life" Hyunjin sighs.
"So what will you do?" I asked.
"What else? I have to babysit him while he's gone" Hyunjin grumbles.
"Yah! Are you out of your mind? You know the principal is on edge already because of the fires and thefts in the dorm" I scoffed.
"Yeah, I know that. I'll figure something out tomorrow. But let's keep him here atleast for tonight" Hyunjin said as the baby started crying.
"He's crying!" I panicked.
"Oh, my gosh!" Han exclaimed before Hyunjin stood up and carried the baby.
"Come here" Hyunjin softly said as he gently patted the baby's back.
"What if someone turns me in because they hear a baby crying?" He asks as he looked at us.
We all did our best to calm the baby down with Han playing with it to Changbin acting cute but none of it worked. They turned it to me and I looked at it blankly as I didn't know what to do. It cooed and calmed down before it smiled at me.
"Hey, look! He stopped" Changbin said in amazement.
"Look at him smile" Han said in awe.
"That's a big smile. How cute" Han cheered at the baby in my arms.
"He stopped as soon as he looked at Malcolm-ah. He must make him comfortable" Hyunjin smiled.
"Why...why? Why pick me?" I asked anxiously.
-Time Skip-
It was already getting late and I heard the door open as Hyunjin went in the room.
"Is he asleep?" He whispered and I looked at the sleeping baby in my arms.
"Yes" I replied and he nodded.
"Here" I muttered as I gave it to him but the baby started crying when I did.
"No, don't cry" I whispered at the baby and did my best to calm it down which worked.
"Oh, he cries whenever anyone else holds him. If anyone finds out, they might report me and you'll be in trouble for letting me get away with it. Oh, what do we do?" Hyunjin said and I gave him a face of disbelief.
"Yah! Are you threatening me?" I glared.
"No, not at all" He defended.
"But if I get kicked out, I have to commute from Incheon which takes five hours again" He explained.
"But, if you get fired and kicked out, you'll lose your scholarship. I'm just so worried" He said and I looked at him unamused.
"Why did I associate myself with you?" I scoffed.
"My life sucks. Get out of here" I grumbled which made Hyunjin leave.
