Malcolm's POV
"What? Minju and I, going out? Are you insane?" I asked in disbelief.
"Then why are you always together?" Hangyul asked.
"We work together. Don't you know?" I replied.
"I'm using my phone as an excuse to scam her for money" I explained.
"So it was all planned. You're going to hit on her" He said as he leaned closer and pointed at me.
"Yah! I am not! I don't have time to hit on anyone" I replied.
"It's hard enough taking care of myself. I don't have time for her" I said.
"Then does Minju have a crush on you on her own?" He speculated as he stood up from his seat and walked towards my side.
"Anyway, I've got you. I'm watching you" He said as he pointed to his eyes then to mine.
"Okay, think whatever you want. I'm exhausted" I said as I removed his hand out of my face and stood from my seat.
"Anyway, what's Minju's deal? No one knows anything other than she came from US. Do you know?" He asked and I sighed as I looked at him.
"No, I don't and I don't care. I don't like people knowing too much about me either" I replied which made Hangyul look at me unamused.
"But from how well she speaks Korean, she must be Korean" He said as we started walking together.
"Maybe she's Korean-American. Born and raised here until she immigrated with her parents" I suggested.
Just in time, Minju appeared and was walking towards our direction. Hangyul quickly walked off the opposite direction. I looked at her and I realized Hangyul left me so I went and followed to his direction.
Minju's POV
Were they talking about me again?
I thought as I looked at Malcolm and the other guy walk off.
Malcolm's POV
I was sitting at one the tables in the lobby, doing my homeworks until...
"Malcolm! You're getting too suspicious. Are you sure you're not going out with her?" Hangyul asked as he walked towards me.
I sighed as I was getting tired of him.
"If you keep that up, I just might go out with her for real" I replied.
"Darn it! I just don't get it" He said in frustration.
"It's not like she has a boyfriend. Boys are all over her. What's going on?" He said as he walked to my side and I could only sit there and listen to him ramble.
"Maybe she just...doesn't like guys?" I suggested.
"Then...does she like girls?" He asked before sitting down next to me.
"What?-" I asked.
"Wait. Is Minju gay?" He asked as he cut me off.
"She's probably just shy and reserved" I replied.
"And so what if she is?" He sighed.
"Hey, what does Minju being have to do with you to make you sigh?" I asked unamused.
"It has nothing to do with me, but it's a waste. She's the first beautiful girl I've met in a while" He replied.
Just in time for the second time, she appeared from behind as she walked towards our table.
