Malcolm's POV
We were still stuck at the basement. I was thinking of ways on how to get out but nothing was popping up.
"Sorry. I had no idea that the door was broken" Minju softly said.
"Are we locked in here all weekend until someone lets us out on Monday?" Han asked.
"There's no guarantee that someone will come on Monday either" I replied.
"Ah! I saw that the janitors and cleaning ladies were here this afternoon" Minju said.
"They...won't come anymore. I already reported them for playing cards in here. Why did I do that?" I sulked.
"Aigo...good going. Seriously, I was sure you'd screw yourself over for reporting people" Han said in frustration.
"I have to get to the police station!" I declared as I stood up.
"They caught the asshole who ran out without paying us, so they said all the victims had to go by tonight" I groaned.
"Screw that, I might not get paid if I don't go today" I said before heading towards the doors before banging on them and shouting for help with Han and Minju joining me to do the same.
"Help! We're stuck in here!" We all shouted.
"Guys!" A familiar voice called out which made us turn.
"Changbin?!" We all shouted in unison.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"The temperature's great, so I take naps here sometimes" He explained.
"What's wrong? What's uh...what's going on?" He asked.
-Time Skip-
We were sitting on the floor in a circle as we waited for anyone to open the doors.
"I'm so hungry...The guys must have eaten by now" Han sighed.
"We have no food and water. We'll starve to death" He complained which made Changbin sigh.
"You won't die from skipping a few meals" Changbin scoffed.
"Had I known I'd die here like this without ever going out with anyone...Damn it! I would've told Kkura that I liked her. I regret it so much" Han groaned which made our heads turn to him.
"What did I say? I said ask her out. That's what you get for not listening" Changbin snickered at him and lightly punched his shoulder.
"That is your fault. You kept saying she was ugly! And that her voice was bad!" Han replied.
"W-What?! I did not!" Changbin shouted back.
"That she's too addicted at videogames! And her ears were too big! You kept saying that!" Han continued which made Changbin look around worried.
I should really stop these two from fighting
"I only said that to make you stop whining and snap out of it!" Changbin said.
"And in the end, you went to get her to go out with me, but said she already had a guy" Han said pointing at Changbin.
"Ya! Enough! Will you shut up already?!" Changbin said but suddenly cut off with Sakura hitting his head out of nowhere.
Minju and I looked at the scene happening before us with disbelief.
"Kkura? W-What are you doing here?" Han asked in a state of shock.
Sakura picked up Changbin and held him by the ear as she pinched it firmly.
"Are you happy your girlfriend is a big earred, videogame addict, huh?" Sakura scolded her.
"That's not it-" Changbin said but got cut off.
"I can't believe you let him say I have a terrible voice. That's the most insulting" Sakura sulked.
"That's not it, Kkura. Calm down. Come on, let me explain" Changbin begged.
"Explain what?! You're a traitor! I told you several times I had a big crush on her! How could you snatch her away from me!?" Han said pinching Changbin's ear as well.
"I thought we were bestfriends! You traitor!" Han shouted at Changbin before releasing him.
"That's not it! I actually tried super hard to get her to go out with you. But she said she liked me more and came on to me" Changbin reasoned.
"I came on to you?" Sakura laughed in disbelief before pinching Changbin's ear again.
"Unbelievable! You asked if I liked puppies because you turn into a dog when you drink and made me drink five bottles of soju to show me!" Sakura said before Han pinched Changbin's ear again.
"I can't believe you! You planned on stealing her from me from the beginning! You're so unbelievable" Han groaned.
"Okay! That's enough already!" Changbin said before standing up.
"If you liked her so much, you should've asked her out. You were too scared to man up and make a move!" Changbin shouted at Han.
"Yah! You're giving me a headache!" I complained which made them stop.
"What happened was Han had a crush on Sakura. Changbin said he'd get you a date with her, but went out with her instead and is now living with her" I elaborated.
"That's right! So unbelievable!" Han groaned.
"Hey, to be honest, you were just a coward. You were too scared to ask her out, so shut up" Changbin said and we slowly nodded in agreement.
"Any other guy would've snatched her away. But I'm the bad guy?" Changbin scoffed.
"Yah! What do you guys think?" Changbin said turning to Minju and I.
"Well...It's true that he's an idiot for not asking her out. It's survival of the fittest. The loser can't really complain" I said.
"Survival of the fittest? Then how are we different from animals? Why do we need ethics and morals? Why do we need friends? Why does friendship matter, huh?!" Han asked out in frustration.
"Yah! Minju, what do you think?!" Han pointed at Minju who looked confused.
"Uh...mm...I think..."Minju started and we eagerly waited for her answer.
"Han-ssi, you're right, and so are you, Changbin-ssi" Minju answered and silence followed as I looked at somewhere else unamused.
"Don't give us an ambiguous answer! Tell us what you think!" Changbin complained.
"So, Han-ssi and Changbin-ssi both clearly like her a lot, then..." She started and we eagerly waited for her answer again.
"Like Solomon says, you should split her down the middle and share" She smiled as she finished but silence followed again and I couldn't help but scoff.
"I'll take the top!" Changbin said.
"I'll take the-" Han started but I cut him off.
"Yah! Don't treat her like an object!" I said.
"Sorry, I was just kidding" Minju apologized and I sighed as I turned towards her.
"You shouldn't make jokes. It isn't you" I said coldly.
"And this isn't a joking matter. This is defamation. Listen. Once we get out of here, I'll report you to the Human Rights Committee" I told her.
"Pabo. You should've picked the bottom. I have an amazing ass" Sakura mocked Changbin.
"Oh! What's this?" Han asked as he removed a piece of cloth on the things that were stacked.
"Hey...looks like someone made fruit wine" Changbin said as we went to him to get a closer look.
"I think the cleaners hid them here" I suggested.
Well...It's better than having nothing to eat or drink
