Minju's POV
"Look at the stars. It's been so long. I love it!" Malcolm groaned as he leaned towards me.
After drinking, Malcolm and I decided to walk around the plains as a night like this don't come too often.
"Are you cold?" I giggled.
"No...Isn't the Korean countryside nice?" He smiled.
"Yeah. I'm glad I came all the way here" I replied.
"I guess I don't appreciate my life enough" He chuckled.
"You're fine. I'm much worse since I live without thinking" I said.
"No, you don't" He teased before I decided to stop as we got to an area full of daisies.
"What's wrong?" He asked and I mentally took a deep breath as my acting is about to come out.
"I...want to pee. I haven't gone to the bathroom since yesterday" I lied, doing my best to sound convincing as he pursed his lips.
"Let's go then. Come on" He nudged.
"But I can't just use the bathroom here, you know" I said.
"Seriously? What are you gonna do?" He whined.
"Let me go over there" I said before heading towards the field of flowers.
"Yah! Minju!" He called out but I ignored him.
Malcolm's POV
I turned around and faced the opposite direction as I wanted to give Minju her privacy while she did her business. I sighed and grumbled as I couldn't believe she had to do it in a place like this.
Does she really have to do this here?
"Malcolm-ah! Don't leave. It's scary!" She shouted.
"Where am I gonna go? I'm not going to leave you" I replied.
"Malcolm-ah? Are you still there?" She shouted.
"I'm here, okay? I can't believe you're making me do this right now" I replied.
"I'm really scared. Can you sing for me?" She asked.
"Uh...no! Just finish!" I whined.
"Are you done yet?" I asked.
"Oh, not yet!" She replied which made me sigh.
"How many times do stuff like this happen to our date? Really? It's not like I'm asking for anything romantic. Just something normal. You know, just a simple, ordinary date. Just a normal date, you know?" I rambled.
"But this is how everything started, remember?" She said and I just stayed quiet as I heard rustling coming from her direction.
I looked behind me and saw that she was doing sonething else. I went up to her quietly so she wouldn't notice. A smile crept on my face as she innocently picked daisies for a bouquet.
"Anyway...my stamina improved thanks to you-" I cut her off my sneaking up on her and scaring her which made her flinch before we both fell on the ground.
I blushed as I saw our position right now with me being top of her. My head turned as we heard a voice coming towards our direction which made me go down and lay on top of her but didn't put all my weight.
"I swear I heard some voices coming from this direction" A guy told the girl he was with.
"Must be my brother's friends. He said they were going to stay here for a while" She replied.
I know that voice...Yeji?
"I heard your prom is coming soon" Yeji said.
"Ah...right. I really never went to them since I never got a date" He replied.
"Well, I'm here now" She giggled which made the guy chuckle.
"It's getting late. Don't you have to go back to Seoul? What about school?" Yeji asked.
"Whatever. My mom's disowning me. My little brother will get all the buildings" The guy sighed.
"Your family own buildings?" She asked in disbelief.
"That's so cool. Personally, it's my dream to become the wife of a building owner" She giggled before they left.
I put my head up and smiled as the coast was clear.
"They're gone" I chuckled as I looked at the girl under me.
Our eyes met as I smiled at her and she smiled back. She looked at me like she was trying to figure out what I was thinking right now. Her eyes twinkled because of the moonlight and I felt like I was in a trance.
I slowly leaned in as she slightly quivered at my action. I stopped midway as I thought she wasn't ready for this. My eyes widened for a second before I closed it as she put her hand behind my head and pulled me in for a passionate kiss. The night was peaceful as we stayed in the position.
I wish we could stay like this forever
