Minju's POV
My eyes fluttered as I was met with a bright light. My vision became more clear and I started hearing the doctor explain something about my condition.
"She's probably just exhausted. Is this the first time she's ever done this much work?" The doctor asked.
"Yes" I heard a familiar male voice answer.
My eyes were open and I looked at the foot of my bed and saw Malcolm standing beside the doctor as they looked at me.
"Can a person faint from exhaustion?" Malcolm asked.
"Yes, it's not too rare for people to come here because of being overworked. She was probably fatigued" The doctor replied.
I looked at the Malcolm and our eyes met but I turned away as I couldn't let him see me like this.
"S-Sorry, I'm not used to doing alot of things an entire day" I apologized, still not making eye contact.
"Well, you should start getting used to working alot if you are going to continue" The doctor said and I nodded before he left.
-Time Skip-
We left the hospital and continued walking home. We were walking side by side and the night sky was pretty.
"I've seen people faint before from getting overworked, but what we did wasn't that much" Malcolm said as we looked at each other.
"That's why I wanted to rest in the employee lounge earlier. It was hard since it was my first time doing so much" I replied.
"If it's urgent then you should rest anywhere and anytime" He said and I scoffed.
"You made me work all day and didn't give me time to catch my breath" I pouted.
"Fine, it's my fault. There, you happy?" He asked as we stopped from our tracks.
I stayed silent and we just continued walking. He stopped walking again and faced me which made me stop and look at him.
"Are you okay now?" He asked.
"Yes, I was able to rest at our time at the hospital. So, I'm okay now" I smiled.
"Good, as you should be. That was an expensive breaktime" He teased.
"Stop, it's embarrasing" I glared.
"Really? Taking a break?" He continued to tease and I just looked at him unamused.
"Let's just take a cab" I said before starting to walk but I got stopped by him.
"The ER bill wasn't covered by insurance, so I had to give them everything we made today and put the balance in my card" He said as he scoffed.
"Thank you so much. I promise that I'll pay you back" I said and gave him a faint smile.
"But, how do we get home?" I asked and he hummed.
"Well, the bus stopped running already. They'll start running again soon" He answered as he started walking, leaving me behind.
"Aren't you coming?" He asked as he stopped to look back at me.
"Ah...I-I'm coming" I answered and caught up with him.
We started walking through city and the nightlife in Korea was beautiful. The lights from the restaurants, the people going home from drinking, and the overall place was just aesthetic.
"Are you amazed?" Malcolm asked as he noticed me looking at our surroundings.
"Y-Yes, it's 3 am already but it's like mid-afternoon" I smiled.
"I heard foreigners love visiting Korea because you can party all night long" He chuckled.
"Some party like crazy" He added.
"Some work like crazy" He finished and I felt bad for him as he had to do so much just to earn money.

After reaching the bus stop, we were fortunately able to get in one right away. I sat at the window seat while he sat next to me.
I looked at him while he was looking at his phone and I felt like I should thank him for earlier.
"Thank you for worrying so much about me earlier" I said and smiled at him.
"Am I stupid? Why would I worry about you? I had to do that in the hospital so that the doctor will take good care of you. It was method acting" He scoffed which made giggle.
"Okay, but I thought I heard you say earlier that your phone screen was cracked to begin with" I said and looked back to see him sleeping and I couldn't help but smile at him.
The ride was pretty quiet and I looked over Malcolm to see that he was still sleeping. I took out my phone and dialed up a number.
"Yes, it's working out fine. No one knows" I answered.
"Yes, I'll make sure no one finds out" I answered as I nodded.
The line soon dropped and I looked over Malcolm to see that his head was swaying from the movement of the bus.
Without thinking, I placed his head on my shoulder so that he could sleep more peacefully. I smiled at his sleeping face and looked outside. I felt sleepy so I decided to take a nap.
Hopefully, things will stay this way and no one will ever find out
