Get your popcorn. This one's a doozy
Malcolm's POV
"How could you guys pretend as if you didn't know anything?" I asked in all seriousness.
"Oh, who am I kidding? That's where you guys are good at anyway" I scoffed.
"Malcolm..." Hyunjin started.
"How long have you guys knew? Or maybe you already knew from the start" I said bitterly.
"Is that why you guys changed the subject when I talked about my dreams? You guys are so great. What a bunch of great friends" I clapped.
"Yah? You think we were fine when we had to do it? We did it for you" Changbin interjected.
"He's right. We saw how hard you took it when you lost Tzuyu and we were there when you needed us the most" Hyunjin added.
"We were there in the times you wouldn't even eat nor leave your room. Now tell us what kind of friends we are, huh?" Changbin said in annoyance.
"Changbin, calm down" Chan said.
"Malcolm, you had selective amnesia" Chan said and I looked at him eagerly.
"That's why you only had that certain memory that you couldn't remember. You had to undergo through therapy sessions so that you'll forget it completely" He added.
"Your nightmares haunted you everynight. Even if you've forgotten it already due to your amnesia, your nightmares didn't leave you alone and that's why your parents decided to get you therapy" He explained.
"Just like us, your parents doesn't like to see you hurting even if you see them the other way. We don't want to see you blaming yourself for something that wasn't your fault" He finished.
"Why...Why did you guys let me forget her?" I asked.
"You knew how much I loved Tzuyu. How could you let the world forget about her as if she didn't exist?" I asked.
"We had to protect you, Malcolm. We already lost a friend. We don't want to lose you, too" Han said.
"Tell me something. Does Minju also remind you of her?" I asked.
"Why did you let both of us meet? Why did you let both us be together if you guys knew how much I loved Tzuyu?" I asked.
"We know how much they have in common. But don't tell us that Minju only reminds you of her" Hyunjin said
"Do you guys seriously think that's how I only feel about Minju? My conscience is eating me up! I'm getting confused on how I feel about her! About us!" I retorted.
Minju's POV
I walked inside the lobby and found Hyunjin sitting by himself as he ate dinner. I went uo to him and sat on the seat across from him.
"Oh, hey, Minju" He greeted as he looked up from his meal.
"Have you seen Malcolm or at least talked to him?" I asked.
"No, we're not even talking" He sighed.
"Oh? Why? Did you guys fight or something?" I asked.
"There was just a misunderstanding. He's just being dramatic. It's like you don't know him" He chuckled.
"Just give him some space for the time being" He suggested and I nodded before leaving.
I went up to my room and plopped on the bed in a sluggish manner. I took out my phone and sighing before opening Malcolm and I's convo.
Malcolm, where are you?:(MinMin)
It's been a while since I've heard from you:(MinMin)
I know you told me that we should take a break but I can't help but worry about you:(MinMin)
You don't even talk to the guys nor do you attend your classes:(MinMin)
I hope you're okay since that's the most important thing for me:(MinMin)
I love you:(MinMin)
I stopped as my vision got blurry from the tears that were flowing. Droplets fell on my phone as the messages I sent got delivered but not seen.
Malcolm's POV
I took a deep breath before taking my phone and opening the groupchat with the guys one more.
Don't look for me:(Malcolm)
I'm okay. I just need time alone:(Malcolm)
I just need to find myself first:(Malcolm)
I closed the groupchat before looking at the brightly lit streets of Seoul as I looked down on it.
I'm sorry, everyone
So...How was the plot twist?xD I feel like you guys already knew what was coming from all the hints I gavexD
It's all lie~ after all
