Malcolm's POV
"What should I do? She came all the way here to see her brother, I can't kick her out" I replied to Chaeyeon as I fixed my notes.
"You say we have to follow the rules, but you do what you want" She retorted.
"So what? What do you want? Should I stick to the rules?" I asked in annoyance as I turned to her before letting out an exasperated sigh.
"Okay, let's see...A few days ago, you went clubbing and didn't go home" I said which made her respond with an annoyed sighed.
"How many demerits is that?" I asked.
"Han was pretty charming in front of her. I guess he's a good guy after all" Chaewon said.
"Like hell. He was being childish" Chaeyeon remarked.
"He may seem that way to us, but Yeji loved it" Chaewon replied.
"To be honest, Han wasn't too bad today. He was actually cute" She added.
"If you like him so much, you go out with him" Chaeyeon scoffed.
"Oppa!" Our heads turned as Yeji came in with a tray in her hands.
"You skipped dinner right? Here. Eat this, please" She smiled as she placed it on the table.
"Thank you. You're so thoughtful" I smiled back.
"Can I help with anything? I've helped my mom since I was a kid, so I'm used to it" She said.
"Well...I left the cleaning supplies in the kitchen. I have to put them in the storage. I forgot. Thanks for reminding-" I said as I stood up from my seat but she stopped me.
"I'll find them and put them away. Don't worry" She smiled before leaving the room.
"Thank you, Yeji-ah!" I shouted as she left.
"She really is a cunning girl" Chaeyeon scoffs before crossing her arms.
"I thought she was a hick, but she totally knows what she's doing" She added.
"Han, you're so innocent and cute. I am not" She mocked.
"What's with you? Are you jealous?" I asked.
"He's right. You've been acting so jealous all day" Chaewon teased.
"I am not!" She replied before leaving my room and Chaewon followed after her.
Minju's POV
-Time Skip-
I joined the guys as they sat at the usual spot again. Changbin and Han came in with Changbin holding a box.
"I believe this is the soufflé you wanted to try, is that right?" Changbin asked as he held it out for Yeji.
"Changbin, did you go all the way to Seongsu just to get this for me?" She asked in a cutesy voice.
"My gosh. I'm so moved" She smiled at him as she took it from his hands and placed it down on the coffee table.
"Um, Changbin ended up getting the last soufflé that they had, so I bought the flower that was in the vase at the café, will you accept it?" Han nervously asked as he held it for her.
"You should've gotten a pancake instead. You really got a flower?" Hyunjin chuckled and I noticed Chaeyeon frown as she saw this.
"Aw...thank you, Han" Yeji said as she got up from her seat and hug him which made us shocked.
"Thank you so much. I'm more moved by the thought and affection that you put into this delicate flower than the soufflé" She smiled at him.
"Anyway, this soufflé looks delicious. Let's all share, guys" She giggled before sitting back at her seat.
"Wow, this soufflé really is good" I smiled.
"Oh my god!" They exclaimed and flinched as they turned to me.
"Minju!"
"When did you get here?" Chaewon asked, shocked.
"I've been here the whole time. Can't you see me?" I asked in confusion
"Minju, you need to work on your presence. You're invisible" Hyunjin said and Chaeyeon nodded in agreement.
"I was at the center of attention just last week. What happened?" I sulked.
"You can't be the main character all the time, that's life" Changbin said.
"You're kind of an attention seeker" Chaewon added and I just sulked as I ate the soufflé.
Malcolm's POV
I saw Hyunjin and the guys eating at our usual spot so I decided to join them.
"Oh? Aren't you guys always with Yeji?" I teased the Han and Changbin.
"Speaking of, how come you never mentioned Yeji? We practically grew up together and how come we just met her now?" I asked Hyunjin as he hummed.
"Well, remember when I said I have alot of siblings because of my mom?" He asked and we nodded.
"She was taken by our father and grew up with him. So I wasn't really there for her most of our lives. We only started living together since my dad started working abroad" He explained and we all nodded and hummed.
-Time Skip-
I just came from my class and was about to head back to the dorm. As I was about to reach it I noticed a familiar figure standing at the entrance.
I stopped from my tracks as I examined the person and when he turned around, I knew who it was already. I turned around so that he wouldn't see me.
Why is he here?
