9: Alone

Billie's P.O.V

"Oh it's okay. I'm sure this'll blow over and y'all are going to be cool again." Claudia said as I let out yet another sniffle. She rubbed my back and tried to calm me down so we could actually talk  about what happened. I shake my head and bury my face further into her shirt. "You should've seen how hurt she was. She's done with me. She said it." "Woah now Billie. Let's not jump to conclusions. I'm sure she wouldn't say that. Calm down and tell me exactly what happened."

I took a deep breath and sat up. It hurt to reminisce what went on an hour ago. I never thought I'd be i hurt by the absence of star's presence but here I am. I fiddled with the large ring on my finger as I thought about where to start.

"She told me she was pregnant and I freaked out and didn't know what to Say and then I kind of accused her of cheating." I blurted out at once. Claudia kept her same expression as she waited patiently for me to speak again.I was confused when she didn't look surprised. Then it all clicked. "Oh my god. You fucking knew all this time and you didn't tell me.Wow." Her face went from a look of confusion to realization then to guilt.

"Actually I didn't find out until like a week ago and it's not my place to tell you. That's her business and she trusted me with that so if she didn't want you to know, I wasn't going to tell you." Claudia said in defense. She was right but I was still upset. "Well if you told me sooner we wouldn't be in this situation." "Billie why in the world would you accuse her of cheating, let alone having a baby by someone else."

"I-I don't know. That one time when she cheated on me with her friend I guess I never really got over it and that's all I could think about. We haven't did anything in a while but then she told me she's a little over a month pregnant and that's accurate to our last time." I rambled. Claudia sighed and gave me a sad smile. "Billie I know it's hard to build that trust again but I can tell you for a fact that star loves you and she won't make that mistake again."

"I really wanna believe that but I just don't know." "It's okAy. You'll get there. But do you want the baby?" I looked down then back up at her, trying to find the right words. "I don't know-" *ring*. Claudia phone rang and my breath caught in my throat when I saw the name that flashed across the screen. I glanced over at Claudia with hopeful eyes and I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

Claudia sighed and picked up the phone, causing my heart to beat rapidly. I was nervous even though I wasn't the one with the phone. "Hello?" Claudia looked over at me then back at the phone in front of her. "Hold On give me a sec." she got up but I grabbed her arm. I gave her puppy eyes and pouted my lips. "Please." I say quietly. "Billie she'll talk to you when she's ready." Claudia whispered. "I just wanna listen." I pleaded.

"Billie I'm sorry." Claudia says then moves my hand off of hers before walking away. I start to get up to follow her but she says, "And don't think about following me." I let out a loud sigh and fall back onto the couch. I take out my phone and leave star another trail of messages that I knew were going to go unread. I didn't care though because sometimes she'd read them and as long as she could see it is what matters to me.

I hope this blows over soon because I can't stand being without star. I can't stand being like this. Alone.

Just a little filler chapter and I know I haven't updated in a while but that's because ya girl just graduated. I will try to write as much as I can but anyways I hope you enjoyed. I love you all. Bye.
