Star's P.O.V.

I leave Billie's house, wobbling to the car, with a big smile on my face. I'm relieved and feeling much better but at the same time I kind of feel bad for forcing that out of her. I just really needed the release. CeCe doesn't look up from her phone when I get in the car, not even noticing me. I let out a relieved sigh and rest my head against the seat, eyes closed. "You ready?" I nod my head and keep my eyes closed as I feel the car move.

15 minutes later...

The ride to my house was silent but it was a peaceful silence. I almost feel asleep but I was adament on staying awake or else imma get all lazy and not wanna help set up for dinner. I haven't given the dinner much thought but I know all hell is gonna break loose. I actually believe that my mom won't be as harsh on the topic as dad would. She would love the idea of me having her grandbaby but not at this age. I think she would still support me though.

"You know you have to keep those clothes with you and hidden, right?" CeCe shoots me a look then focuses her attention on the road once again. "No duh." I roll my eyes and look out the window. (I hear a buzz.) I turn and my eyes shoots towards the console where CeCe's phone is laying. There's a message notification from somebody named Zion with a heart. I smirk and I catch CeCe glare at me. "You're so nosey."

"Ouuu. Who's Zion?" She chuckles and puts her phone in her lap. "Nobody important." "Oh yea? You sure about that?" "Yes. Very sure." "Mhm. That's why you're hiding your phone." She turns away from me but I already see her blush. "It don't have to be now but I wanna meet him." "Oh my godddd. You're so annoying." We both laugh.

---

"Alright. We're here." I sit up and grab my stuff. "You sure you don't need me to come by for dinner?" "No it's okay. I think it's better if it's just me and billie." CeCe nods and watches carefully as I exit the car and make my way towards the house, walking as normally as I could. I take a deep breath before I entered the house.

I open the door and I'm met by a very good smell. The type of smell that would wake you up out of your sleep. I smile to myself when I see my mom in the kitchen cooking. I make my way over to the island and take a seat. She looks up from the big bowl where she was stirring cornbread mix. She smiles and says, "Hey. Where have you been?" "I was with CeCe then we went to hang out with Billie.

"Oh okay. Sounds fun." "Yea. What are you cooking? It smells good." She goes back to stirring as she speaks. "Pork chops and gravy with rice and cornbread. I might make some extra side dishes too." "Mmm. Sounds good." "It is. Now wash your hands and come make the cornbread." I smile then get up and make my way around the counter.

---

"Where's dad?" I ask as I finish making the macaroni. It's totally unrelated to the main dish but I just love macaroni. I had to. "Uh he's...out...but don't worry. He'll be here soon." I nod and go to sit back down on the isle cuz my feet are killing me. "Okay everything is pretty much done. How about me have some chat time." I smile and nod. "What's been going on with you lately? At school and stuff."

"Uhh nothing really. Same as usual." My mom nods slowly. I could tell she expected me to say more but I didn't. "What about you? How are you doing?" She looks up as if she's thinking about something. Then a flash of sadness appears on her face. She looks back at me and says, "I'm good." I guess we're both keeping things from each other. Then I wonder if she found out dad was cheating with celeste. No. She couldn't know. I wish she did though.

"Well I'm gonna go get cleaned up and dressed." I get up from the isle and make my way upstairs. I sigh as I fall onto the bed and pull out my phone. I smile as I see a text from Billie saying she was getting dressed and she'd be up in a little while. I throw my phone on the side of me and get myself ready to get up and take out an outfit.

---

After much searching and stressing, I finally settled on a baby blue hoodie and light blue jeans with these little pearls on them. Billie was actually almost here. I look in the mirror and I'm not too proud of this outfit but it's all I could manage without showing my belly bump. It doesn't really matter anyway because I'm at home.

I sigh and grab my phone and headed downstairs. Suddenly I'm feeling down and it's annoying me because I don't even have anything to be sad about. Not yet anyway.
