Third P.O.V.

The So siblings stepped through the threshold of their house and So MiYoung looked around cautiously, looking for anything that may be out of place.

"Welcome back Young Master and Mistress." The head maid, Go Ara greeted them.

"Ahjuma, please get the kettle boiling." YiJung ordered the maid before turning to MiYoung, "Dongsaeng, freshen up and come down.  I'll make some tea for you."

MiYoung nodded and went to her room.

After freshening up, the two siblings came down and YiJung made them tea.

"So did you enjoy the trip?" YiJung inquired sipping his tea.

A smile graced MiYoung's face as she recalled the trip. "It was amazing. I had a great time."

"I'm glad." YiJung sent a small smile her way. There was a beat of silence which felt awkward to MiYoung but before she could ask what was wrong, YiJung broke it himself. "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"Lots of things but mainly for not being able to protect you. I'm the worst elder brother ever." He whispered the last part.

MiYoung was stunned for a moment. "Hyung! Are you stupid? There was no way that you could've known what was about to happen. Please don't blame yourself. That'll make me sad and I know my brother, he can't stand to see me sad."

YiJung chuckled softly as MiYong wrapped her arms around him. "You've always protected me from everything since I was little. In fact, I have the best brother in the world and I'll not hear a bad word about him. You got it?"

YiJung nodded with a fond smile on his face.

The two siblings stayed up till late, chatting while watching Tottenham's match cheering Son Heung-min on.

Song WooBin sat in his living room and looked around his empty house. Everything was quiet. Too quiet.

The liveliness and warmth that the presence of the So siblings had brought were long gone and left behind was an empty and cold feeling. With his head already swirling with dark thoughts, the loneliness caught him at a moment of weakness. At times like this WooBin did only one thing and so he did it again. He went to a club.

Hours passed by in a blur and WooBin was far too drunk to notice his phone vibrating in his pocket. Partying always took his mind off things but this time even that didn't help so now he was drunk and pissed because nothing made sense to him. At this point, he wasn't even sure what was bothering him and that just made him angry so on top of all the bad decisions he had been making that night, he made another one.

"Take me to the ring." He slurred to his right-hand man, Im HyunSik, who always followed him everywhere.

HyunSik looked at his boss doubtful of his intentions, he was barely walking straight and he wanted to go to the ring. He tried to protest but before he could do so WooBin already had him by the collar, "I asked you to do something and you better do it fast before I lose the patience that I have left."

Knowing he has no say in the matter, HyunSik just nodded and led his boss towards the car. He held the back door open for WooBin and slid into the passenger seat telling the driver to go to the ring.

The ring was the Song family's exclusive underground bar and fight ring. A selected few were aware of its existence and the entrance was limited to members and their guests. The entrance was located in a shady alley that none would dare venture into but the interior was more luxurious than the best bars in the city.

WooBin walked through the bar without acknowledging any greetings he received from the people and made his way towards the fighting area with HyunSik right on his heels. He went to his office and took out his fighting clothes from the locker that was there and turned to HyunSik.

"Tell the organizer to book a fight for me."

HyunSik looked at him worried, "But Boss you've had too much to drink. I do-"

"Either you do your job or I find someone else to do it."

Hyunsik bowed his head apologizing before he headed out the door to do what was asked of him. If it was any other day HyunSik wouldn't bat an eyelash at WooBin's demand to fight. His boss was an excellent fighter and had never lost in the ring but this time was different. WooBin was drunk and something was on his mind. HyunSik couldn't let his boss go into the ring right now, after a previous similar incident he had received strict orders to call someone in such situations and so he did.

The match that YiJung and MiYoung were watching had long ended and now they were watching a movie. Both were focused on the aliens on the screen before their concentration was broken by the shrill voice of YiJung's phone. As soon as the caller id caught YiJung's eyes, he immediately answered. He had been trying to reach WooBin for the past 2 hours but got no response.

"Hello?"

"So YiJung-shi, I'm sorry for calling so late but it's an emergency. Boss is drunk and at the ring right now. He insists on fighting even though his head is not clear at the moment. I'm afraid it might end badly. You know how the ring works." HyunSik is quick to launch into the problem.

YiJung cursed under his breath as he stood up from his spot. "Try to stall as much as you can, I'll be there soon."

YiJung turned to MiYoung who was already standing next to him. "MiYoungie, you go to bed now. I have something to do."

"I heard everything hyung. Who is it?"

He let out a sigh as he answered her. "WooBin. I'll be going now."

MiYoung felt her breath get caught in her throat as she stared at the spot her brother stood moments ago.

'Woobin'.

'I'm afraid it might end badly.'

'He insists on fighting.'

'You know how the ring works.'

Before she could grasp the situation and beg YiJung to take her along, he was already out of the door.
