I'm not that much of a competitive person. Yes, Soon and I have had our small competitions around the dorm, but I've never really been in a contest or sport before.

This doesn't really apply as I try to beat Choi Soobin at this rigged carnival game.

The game itself is easy, it's just a simple basketball game. The rigged part is that Soobin and his tree-like self is already halfway to the net when he reaches his arm out.

As soon as the person working at the booth gave us a basketball each, Soobin leaned forward and threw it straight into the net. I stood there in both shock and slight anger because of the advantage Soobin had, but tried to make the best of the game.

Soobin won.

I didn't make any shots, but Soobin made all of them. Surprise, surprise.

In the end he won a shiney batman cape which he immediately put on and ran in a few circles with.

Now we are walking through the booths more to look for the next thing to do. The crowd is still pretty full, maybe a little less than before because it's a week night.

But even so, Soobin made sure to grab my hand before we moved on so I wouldn't get lost.

Looking over to my right side, one of the booths has a cotton candy machine spinning with pink and blue sugar strings. Cotton candy does sound nice right now, I mean, who doesn't like cotton candy?

I shake my head out of the thought and continue to walk to be pulled back a little from Soobin stopping.

He looks from the booth to me and I know immediately what he's thinking.

"No, Soobin. You paid for the game, you don't need to spend anymore money on me." I tell him.

"Did you want some though?"

"I'm fine, don't worry about me. Let's go."

He nods and we continue to walk for a little bit when I feel his hand slip from mine. I quickly turn to see him sprinting to the booth again.

By the time I fought through the crowd and came up next to him again, he turns to me with a bag of blue cotton candy and a wide smile.

I walk up to his side and cross my arms.

"What are you doing?"

"You said you wanted some cotton candy, so I got you some."

I smile at his cuteness and take the bag from his outstretched hand.

"Thank you, but you didn't have to do that."

"It's ok, I wanted to."

After walking from the cotton candy booth, I made sure Soobin got a share of the treat because it didn't sit right with me if he didn't have any after buying it.

We continue to walk on through the isles and isles of booths, looking around for the next thing to do with no rush.

Soon enough, Soobin spots the next game to play.

The throw-the-ball-at-the-stacked-cans game.

We walk up to the booth with our almost empty cotton candy bag in hand. The booth had three stalls with three sets of stacked cans in each. The cans were set on a small box to make them sit taller for people to hit.

On top of the stalls were all the prizes you could win. Huge bears and bunnies sat on the walls ready for anyone to take home.

Soobin had a look of confidence, like he would win and be amazing at this game. Which it wouldn't be surprising if he was, just by leaning over the edge of the booth, his arm was halfway to the cans.
