Chapter 52

As the door opens I feel Soobin's hands on my shoulders to help calm down my nervousness.

The door opens to a larger space than I had anticipated, and a tall broader figure than I anticipated also.

"Come in, come in. Sorry for the mess, we got stuck at the studio and started getting ready here later than we had planned."

The person with the wide frame walked into the kitchen area with his back to us. His voice sounds familiar somehow, but I don't know where I've heard it.

He fixes something on the stove and wipes his hands on a towel before turning to face us.

Oh my god.

"No one else ever helps me in the kitchen. Anyway, hello, you must be Jihyun."

"Y-you're K-Kim Seokj-jin." I stutter out.

He laughs and nods. "Yes, I am. I'm guessing these boys didn't tell you who you were meeting today?"

"No, they didn't." I say turning to face them.

Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Kai all were holding their hands up in surrender. Taehyun was standing with a passive face, and Soobin was just smiling.

"Well don't scold them too much, I'll take care of that later if you'd like. Now before you get settled let's-"

"Jin hyung! The hyungs want to know when the food is gonna be ready." A person comes from the other room.

I turn to see their face and am met with a handsome brown-haired figure.

I stare in shock as he sees the boys behind me.

"Hi, guys. I didn't know you were here- OH! You're Ji-"

"Out, Taehyung! Out! I told you all to wait so we all can have a proper greeting together." Seokjin said while shoving Taehyung back into the room he came from.

"T-that was Kim T-Taehyung. So the rest are-"

"Being impatient in the living room. Yes. Sometimes coordinating those guys can be like trying to contain a bunch of scared chickens. I thought the boys would have prepared you better to meet us." Seokjin says while side-eyeing the boys. They all look in different directions avoiding the eldest.

He exhales. "Ok well, just wait here for a second. I'll take care of the food then we'll go to the living room to meet everyone." Seokjin says and walks back to the stove.

While he is away, I turn to the boys and lightly hit Yeonjun's shoulder.

"Why didn't you tell me you knew THE Kim Seokjin and Kim Taehyung?"

"We wanted it to be a surprise. We didn't know you were such a fan to be that shocked though."

"Everyone knows who they are, of course I'm going to be shocked!"

"Ok, the food is done, let's go to the living room." Seokjin says.

We all nod and follow him down the hall. I walk a little slower, mostly because I'm more nervous than before now that I know who I'm meeting.

The boys all walk past me, except for Soobin who stands next to me.

He nudges my shoulder and puts his hand out. With a slight smile, I take his hand and continue to walk down the hall.

We all turn and walk into an open area with couches and chairs. In front of us are some people on the seats, but Kai is covering my view.

"Guys, the boys are here with their friend." Seokjin announces. He sees that I'm behind Kai and moves him to the side a bit.

The rest of BTS stares back at me with friendly smiles as I stare in shock at where I am right now.

Namjoon stands and walks in front of me.

"Hello, Jihyun. It's great to finally meet you, the boys talk about you all the time." He says as he shakes my hand.

I nod. "N-nice to m-meet you t-too."

They laugh at my broken speech.

"I guess they didn't tell you who you were meeting. You look really shocked, are you possibly an ARMY?" Namjoon asks.

"I- Well, I-I'm a casual listener. But I still know y-your faces and names." I shyly say and the rest of BTS smiles.

"Well then we don't need to introduce ourselves. Would you mind introducing yourself though?"

I nod and face the rest of BTS.

"H-Hello, I'm Jihyun. It's nice to meet you all."

"We're happy to meet you too, Jihyun. Now, the food is ready so we can all go to the table and eat while we talk some more." Seokjin tells us.

We all followed and found seats on the long table, while others decided to sit on the couches around the table so there was more room.

Later when our plates were mostly cleared, Hoseok spoke up to me.

"It really is great to finally see you, Jihyun. Everytime the boys visit us, they talk about you and we were starting to get really curious about who you were."

I smile and nod. "It's nice to be here. I wish I could say the same though. The boys didn't really give me a warning about who you were or anything."

"Well I hope the initial shock is out of the way. How about you think of us as normal people rather than idols for today?" Jimin says.

I nod and try to relax a bit more now that he suggested it.

I would never have thought the boys knew such famous people. Especially BTS of anyone.

From our conversation at the table, I found out that the boys had met BTS from winning a dance competition when they all were still in high school. They got to meet and dance along side BTS as their award. From there, they both took a liking to each other and decided to stay friends. Since then, BTS have been like big brothers to the boys.

I didn't know I was such a big topic of conversation for the boys, every member of BTS told me that they talk about me a lot, especially Soobin. I just hope that it was all good things they talk about.

Once we're done with our meal, we all cleaned our plates and settled in the living room again to talk and relax.

A/N:
And the mystery people are revealed! Even though everyone probably knew who they were already.

The next chapter is the LAST CHAPTER of this book, besides the epilogue which will be posted later in the day tomorrow. So basically, after tomorrow, this book will be completed!

I hope the ending is good for everyone, this being my first story, I don't have a lot of experience and I'm still learning with my writing every time I write a new chapter.

Next final chapter is tomorrow!
