Soobin's POV
After Kai left the room, I started to decide how I should wake Jihyun up. I don't want to scare her, so I guess I should just gently shake her?I rub the rest of the sleep from my eyes and look over to her. Through the nap she had moved her legs onto mine and moved her head onto my right arm that was elevated by pillows so she was facing me.
I didn't notice her legs on mine until now, she weighs almost nothing. Even though she's asleep, she still looks so beautiful.
Thinking about it now, her being sick is all my fault. If I hadn't wanted to take a walk, she might have gone home and stayed safe. Even if we did go out, I should have made sure she was home before it started raining.
Now she has to deal with being sick through school and the weekend.
I remember when I was little, my mom would kiss my face all over to make the fever go away. I always would get better the days after she did that, like she was kissing away the sickness.
I look back at Jihyun's sleeping face. I shouldn't, she might be uncomfortable with that. But she's asleep? No, that makes it worse.
I move my free hand to touch her forehead. Still warm. Us being so close together probably doesn't help her fever though.
My hand moves down her face and stops at her cheek.
Just once. No more. I won't do it again after this.
I slowly lean in, placing a light kiss on her warm forehead. She didn't stirr, still heavily asleep.
Without thinking, I move a bit lower and place another kiss under her eye, and another on her cheek.
This feeling in my chest is new, I've never felt this before. Maybe once, but for a quick moment. When I first danced with the boys. It felt so freeing to be with them doing what we loved together for the first time.
This feeling is the same thing. Looking back, I've had a crush on Jihyun for a while. But I haven't been confident enough to act on it. Especially since she had just gone through a break up. I didn't think she would be ready to even start thinking about another relationship, or even having a crush on someone else so soon.
I can wait. I don't know when she'll be ready, but I can wait as long as it takes. Someone like her shouldn't have been cheated on in the first place.
I barely move forward to place another kiss on her forehead before stopping myself.
I need to stop. She might not be comfortable with this.
I sit up a bit more, making sure not to move in a way that would cause Jihyun discomfort. I stretch out my back from laying down and turn to her to wake her up.
Gently shaking her shoulder, I call out to her a few times.
"Jihyun."
"Jihyun, you need to wake up."
She shifts a bit to move closer to me. I feel my face get hot when she brings an arm around my waist to pull herself closer. She's really making this hard to calmly wake her up.
I slowly pull the sheet off her and myself. At this movement, she sturrs a bit and rubs her face on me in annoyance. Now my ears are burning.
Shaking her shoulder more, she finally lifts her head up and starts to open her eyes.
"Hmm?'
"Y-you need to wake up. The boys got you some hot soup."
"Ok." She says still half a sleep.
She sits up from my side and starts rubbing her face to wake up more. Before she can refocus, I try to quickly get off the bed so she has room to stretch.
"When did you guys get here?"
I turn to see Jihyun fixing her hair a bit after laying down for so long.
"Oh. W-we got here only about 45 minutes ago. When we got here Soonyoung was leaving so she gave us the code to the door so we could go in and out." I explain.
She nods and sits up further.
"I feel terrible."
"Well there's hot soup and cold medicine waiting for you in the kitchen."
She smiles and starts to shuffle off the bed to place her feet on the floor. I walk ahead and open the door for her as she straightens out her hoodie.
A/N:
I think I'm ded.I might be exaggerating but I'm ded. While I was writing that part I was blushing the whole time for no reason, help.
Anyway, besides that I have nothing else to say, I'll go now.
Love you guys! 💙💛💙💛💙
