Chapter 6

The rest of the weekend was relaxing to make up for what had happened that previous Saturday. We didn't do much except for watch movies, watch YouTube, and stuff ourselves silly with take out food. I realized I tend to eat when I'm sad or angry, so we had a lot of food than we normally do over the course of two days. Of course Soonyoung didn't mind this, she eats a lot more than I do.

When Sunday night rolled around, I started to get apprehensive about the next day. We figured I'll have Soon or other people around most of the time, so Jae might not come to me.

The thing I'm starting to think about now is the fact that he might start getting more and more agitated when he can't get to me. When someone is looking forward to something or they are expecting something to happen and it doesn't, that person will get more upset, curious, apprehensive, or worried about it. So, if Jae waits too long to find me, he'll be more angry when he finally does.

This fact led me to kind of want to talk to him as soon as possible. If he will get emotionally worse later, I'll get this over with now. When I told Soon this, she shut that idea down really fast.

"If you do talk to him he might convince you to be with him again. You're still a little hurt from this (I can see it), it will be easy for him to manipulate you." She said.

I don't agree, I know what his motives are and I know how not to fall for them. If he does come to me I won't be scared, but it's a different case if he comes in a month or so.

It's now Monday morning. I've already got up, done everything I needed to do in the bathroom, and gotten dressed.

Class doesn't start till 9:45 for me today, so I have to find something else to do for right now.

I was sitting at the kitchen table when I got a craving for something sweet. Thinking back, I never did get to eat the muffin from Saturday.

With the muffin set in my mind, I got up and made my way out of the dorms. I hop in my car (in case I need a quick get-away this time) and head to the coffee shop.

Some may think it's hard for me to go back there, but why would it be? The worst that's happened there is I got my drinks spilled everywhere and I've been hit on by a few random dudes there before.

When I arrive at the shop, I order a hot chocolate and a chocolate chip muffin, I'm not in the mood for blueberry right now.

I sit at a table by the window so I can people-watch. I've always liked watching people walk by and making a backstory for them, it's a good way to get your mind working in the beginning of the day.

Looking away from the window for a bit, I take some time to study the shop's decor.

They have lots of plants in here, which shows the temperature difference from inside to outside. The plants range from hanging vines, to small pots on the tables, to big leaves sprouting in the corners.

They also have a variety of seats for people to take, ranging from actual tables to some bean bag chairs on a carpet. On the wall to the right of the pastry counter, they have a shelf full of books for customers to borrow or purchase.

The shop has an overall cozy atmosphere, it feels like anyone can come in here and make themselves at home.

I look all around the shop, sipping my hot chocolate and admiring all the greenery it has to offer without a care in the world. Grazing over the line in front of the counter, I have to do a double take when I see someone I didn't expect to see ever again.

I hated to leave this on a cliffhanger because I hate it when authors do that, but I did it anyway (I know, I'm mean).

Make sure to have a great day today. I don't know where you guys live, but if you're in a safe place, take a walk for a bit. If you only have a neighborhood that's fine, if you have a park nearby that's even better! Take the time to walk around and listen to the birds and breeze nature has to offer.
